ok here's the story i'm taken beg chinese and there is a wm guy who's in the class who i chat with-nice guy and all. i am chinese but a cbc that why i am takin beg chinese.
the story i am sayin is why u see some guys like this wm(joey) havin so much luck with the ladies. i think its b/c his secret -he teases em in a way- yes since i been observing and listening to what he been saying to these girls. one of em be -we are at the library studying and the chinese gal his freind he met at the library is there,so she teaching us a little and the chinese gal (mary) mistakes a character for another character-joey says ahhh i think we need a new teacher-in a joking teasing way-mary then gives him a little slap on the forearm. it this kind of teasing and ..... with the gal thats what they like. kind of like playin with em. he also good with the other ladies too since i seen him talk to em. he seems to like to talk to girls but i don't see him talkin to a lot guys, but then again i only have one class with him. maybe mary likes him b/c hes a WM who nows, but all i am sayin is teasing em helps a lot.
another example is this

mary-where did u get those jeans(they are ripped up at the knee area)
joey-its my dads
mary-really -smiles giigles sure
joey -yea htey are my dads
mary-how tall is ur dad
joey-why u wanna ask him out
mary-smiling giggling hmm ur mom won't like it
joey- my mom won't mind smiling

from what i see joey and mary poke each other , give each light punches, i think they like each other. not sure how joey did it but he gots game, and that is why i am listening to what he is sayin and doin. maybe mary likes him and is just showing interest- i mean joey is a good looking guy, but so am i, but i am too quite and reserved. joeys kind of humour is more like teasing , funny humour, while i have the humour from what i watch from tv shows which is usually very stupid funny.
do all gals love what joey is doing or is it just mary? any examples and phrases i can use that has been successful on the gals that u guys have used before. man some guy have all the luck

but if he is saying it with confidence...humor..or what u showed us there can be done in many different forms.

but I will say what he did is much better than saying nothing. much better

the way your friend there was talking reminds me of my good friend. he talks with girls in a similar manner and they play with it.

Hey I'm a Chinese male too, and I have a hunch that WM means "white male."

Anyhow, I think sometimes Asian girls in general go for non-Asian guys because they think Asian guys are kinda fobby and stuff. Now, I think that is very shallow and I never use a term like that, but that is what I think they think of us. Now, I'm sure you and I both dress well and look average to above average.

Assuming that, you have a good chance. However, we need more info. What is your goal with Mary? Do you want to go out with her? Or are you just interested in Joey's techniques?

I mean, laughter is usually caused by happiness. If people are happy around you, they tend to like to be around you more. Now, like you said there are 2 kinds of funny:

1) Stupid funny (your kind of funny)
2) Witty, busting funny (Joey's funny)

Now listen here, people might like both because you feel good both ways, but do you wanna be seen with a guy doing stupid sh*t that may be funny or a guy being charming and witty and being funny? Of course, you'd choose the latter and you know it. Now, stop being so quiet and go talk to some girls. Now, don't change suddenly because that's just weird. I think if you watch Joey more, you will notice he isn't a loud mouth. He probably just talks whenever it's needed so he's not annoying, yet when he DOES talk people listen and he's not considered quiet like you.

Now I am going to make you sosuave's official scout and bring us back more examples and stuff that Joey does and be specific. We can all learn from it. Go.

lol was at library with em just now and guess what mary has a bf- i guess all and all she was just flirtin and being friendly wiht joey thats all and just being freinds. joey didn't have a sad face or anything-he seemed relaxed and cool about it. she said her bf was half chinese half indian and how he speaks little chinese and this and that.

well yesterday he asked her to go out for some burgers and she said yea ok, i guess it was just a freind kind of thing yea now. hey i'm not interested in mary anyways, but i guess joey takes it cool and sees what happens,i see him talkin wiht other gals too in class

he didn't have a sad face because he probably ALREADY knows that there are MANY girls out there he could have a chance with. Why screw yourself over by getting yourself worked up for nothing
