"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

now this should be a thread for goodlooking men. since i firmly believe that the dj game is different for guys 8s and above. there should be advices from real life experiences with real goodlooking guys or guys who have goodlooking friends(how do they act to pull the babes and what do they do to be less intimidating) i also need to help a freind who's so goodlooking.
no offence to the other guys .

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

You know just as well that this thread will be unorganised, if not inevitably closed.

For a good looking guy, you're a little short in the common sense department.

yes looks dont matter but being a little above average can hinder your chances. i know wat im talking about. the problem with u guys is that you think women can not be intimidated by guys you all have sefl limiting believes. women arnt all that.s top the afc mindset women to can be intimidated but they are good at keeping it under wrap.

The reason why you people think good looks will hinder your success it's because you game girls that are below your level lookwise. It doesn't matter actually how hot she looks to YOU but mostly to the rest of the people and HER.An 9 guy can bang a 7 chick and be all-out afc during the trip.So..if you're a 9 and wanna game a 7 turn down the heat a bit, compliment and show her that you like her because female self-esteem can be blown to smitherins with one remark.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I don't know if that was supposed to be a sarcastic comment, but as i said she may look a 9 to YOU,everyone else see her as a 8 and she will feel an 7.It goes the other way too, some fat whales thinking they're models may not put out for a guy under 8 (and unfortunately there are goodlooking guys THAT desperate).

I"m not drop-dead-gorgeous, but I know that I am physically attractive.

But then again, all girls are different, so I could be a 9 to one, and a 6 to another.

From my experience, It's usually those extremes. On my myspace account I have like, 80 comments on one of my photos filled with all sorts of "absoultely gorgeous" and "you look sexy", (I produce trance/club music, and I have a pretty large fanbase on myspace, I'm not a myspace wh0re is what I'm trying to say, I just get a large amount of traffic to my profile)

But yea, I know i'm not intimidatingly good looking, so I've never had that problem. But I have a few friends who are obviously good looking, yet I've never seen any situation with any of those people like you described, so maybe some girls are just shy like most guys seem to be these days?

Heh you're welcome.I don't know what's gotten into you guys lately with the looks-are-a-curse trend, cause they're not,you just have to know how to use them.

trance_addict: girls can be anything,shy/wildcats/nerds/nutcases regardless of looks.I've seen confident 4s and 5s and insecure, nerdy 8s.Depends on the family, environment etc.As a matter of fact a 9 girl that doesn't go clubbing etc will seldom be approached,if ever, and can be shy as **** :p.The deciding factor -as always-,is YOU, learn how to "read" people and you have a serious advantage over most guys.

a guy might be '11' in the eyes of one woman, and '4' in the eyes of another. but a '4' guy can become an '11' to that second woman if he acts properly to her. so 'good looking' is rather subjective, lol.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

On HotOrNot, I'm a 8.3 from 106 people (but that rating system is not a true count of the numbers)

Lets assume for a minute that every rating was a true thought. (xth place)
MY 8 (9th) is slightly higher then 10 (10th)
My 1 (7th) is equal to my 9 (7th)
MY 2 (6th) is slightly lower then my 4 (5th).
MY 3 (3rd) is equal to my 7 (3rd)
My 6 is about 140% of my 7 (2nd), and my 5 (1st) is almost 200% of the 7.

I'm looking at the graph, so just open up paint and follow the instructions and you'll see visually what I'm trying to say. But my bulk lies between 5-7.

This post holds no progressive value whatsoever.

And sorry lurker, but telling other people to stop the AFC midset, right after you created a topic putting a negative spin on a positive aspect, is a little out of whack.

This is bordering very dangerously on giving people excuses not to succeed. If you come from a negative standpoint, your game is hindered immediately, and you will fail. Having good looks is not a scapegoat for failure.

I understand your intentions are good with this thread, I have no problem with that. But I know i'm not the only person on this board who is noticing a huge increase in excuses, rather than solutions. Address your game, not the mirror.

I'm fairly attractive and it's definitely an advantage. Girls don't fall completely all over me (well a few times a woman just 'chooses' me as i walk in the room and is pretty forward but not all that often), but I see the looks I get and my friends getting jealous and pointing them out.

I think they let a better looking guy get away with more things. If they think you're hot you're already in without trying all that hard. You don't have to put on as much of a show.

The idea that you're too good looking sounds absurd. Intimidated my ass. Women are always intimidated by guys but they just giggle and keep following you around. These hot guys complaining about looks i think are doing something else personality wise to chase girls off. Maybe being too arrogant or something.... maybe putting too much ****y in their ****y and funny? It's pretty much the equivalent of the uglier dudes saying "poor me" and not even trying to get women and just sipping their beers in the corner because they think they're too ugly to succeed when i've seen plenty of attractive girls with dopey looking dudes.
