"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I'm not affilliated with any religion, but if there was one idea that I am agreement with regarding religion, it is the practice of the Golden Rule. It turns out that the Golden Rule is apparent in almost every major religion- LINK

Chances are as a young kid, you were taught this rule, commonly in the form of "Do onto others as you would wish them do onto you." It was one of those things that you never questioned, because it made complete sense just by understanding it. I think the most important thing is that it is the easiest way to realize empathy. It is empathy in a sentence. By applying this rule in an interaction, you are practicing empathy in its simplest form. It forces you to step outside of yourself and see and feel things from another perspective.

I'm by no means perfect, but lately I've been really trying to apply this rule to most of my behavior, and I'm beginning to find out that it is really hard. At times I completely forget and there are rare occasions when I know I'm violating it but ignore it anyway.

Now what troubles me is it seems we are living in a society that is forgetting this rule. I've made some statements in other posts, as have other posters, mentioning that we live in the most self-centered and selfish era of human civilization. I believe that more than ever now. Even some of the material on this site goes against this rule.

I feel this is an interesting topic to explore and is relevant to many things. Some questions for you all: Do you consciously try to apply the Golden Rule in your life? Do we live in a society that is ignoring it? If so, what would be the consequences? I know this is talked about in ethics but I also would like to talk about how it has affected you personally.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Nobody's perfect Falcon, but having strong values on how you treat people says a lot about you.

The "golden rule" will not get you laid...but,

by treating others with respect, how you like to be treated, you will gain true friends who would take the shirt off their back for you, a strong family, and if you meet a quality woman, you will have her respect and she would do anything for you.

That being said, don't sacrifice your values for anyone. Never, let someone lower you to their level. Walk away, and focus on the people that deserve you.

In other words...don't put up with any sh!t.

Good post.

That is my golden rule.

What is golden rule? It's a set of values you hold. Such as what your mamma taught you. There isn't a single golden rule. Even the do onto others as you wish done to you is not definitive.

You must agree that as a playa you have a different perspective to the golden rule.
