"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Alrighty then. A girl that I like has been ignoring and avoiding me for about about a month now, it was very unexpected. I told her I liked her from the start and she insinuated that she also liked me, we talked for hours at a time on skype (inevitably even if we tried to limit it so we could sleep, it was fun), next thing I know she is ignoring my communications through facebook and skype, she avoids me at school and when I pressed for a reason she said she was scared and running from her fears, as far as I can tell I did nothing to cause this change. Normally I would just let it go and you would all probably say the same, but she keeps returning to my mind because I like weird girls and this fine lady is an excellent blend of adventure, insanity, humour and fun (my best match yet). Weird girls are hard to find let alone the select few special kinds of weird that I like. So I don't want to let it go just yet, what is the best way to go about persisting? She avoids me and she is a year above me so I don't know any of her friends and I normally only spoke to her at sport when she was away from her friends (I wish I had met them before, they could have helped, maybe they still can).

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Most probably it's because you told her you like her, I'm going to hazard a guess and say you didn't make a move on her, but simply put your feelings out on the table for her. Your lady got spooked.

Hours at a time on skype? What would you talk about? I doubt it was anything too sexual and flirty, another reason she probably got spooked. She saw you more as a gay best friend, and then you came out saying you liked her. She then backwards rationalises everything in her head, you held the door open for her once she now thinks of it as 'oh god it's because he likes me', you lent her a pen ' oh no, he was trying to buy my affection'. Every little thing that you do sets her hamster running into overdrive, she can't handle it and so she ignores you.

That's what I reckon anyway, I might be wrong though.

Maybe, but I told her I liked her from the begining and she insinuated she liked me (she put up a facebook status listing colours and associating something with them, one of which was pink for i have a crush on you, I inboxed her a number of the colours including pink, i had already told her and it had been well established that i liked her before hand, and she replied, "red: we should hang out more and a few others ;)", im pretty sure she meant pink or she just wanted to mess with me and keep me guessing). The talks weren't too sexual but never boring, I should have made more moves, but what can I do now?

I think you made it too easy. You expressed neediness, and she ran. Invite her to see you in real life or none of it matters.
