The friendly greet-kiss - once, twice or never?

What's the deal with air-kissing? Some women (especially spanish who I likey mucho) give and expect two air-kisses when you meet them. Others seem to want just one, or none, and everyone notices that the hottest chick gets kissed first, and should you touch lips to cheek or just kiss the air, etc.

It's a potential MINEFIELD!, but I think there are ways of using the convention to build attraction in a target.

Kiss the fugly one first, make the hottie wait/get jealous.

Take control. If you go for the other cheek and your target pauses, tell her 'two is the civilized way' or something.

Use the kino to get more kino - touch an arm or shoulder to cement the moment.

'Mmm, you smell nice'

etc

But I'd like to hear what other experienced members think - perhaps it would be better to not air-kiss anyone you haven't already ****ed? Sometimes it seems like it's the invitation to the LJBF lounge. And it's really annoying figuring out how often you're supposed to do it? Like I game waitresses and sometimes I see them out of work and I might do it then, but not when they're working. Does anyone know the rules or are we all just faking it?

And ultimitely, it seems a bit faggy.

Just give them the old handshake and let it linger just a lil' bit longer while maintaining strong EC....Very effective.

If it's someone you know fairly well, like a friend or something, I give them just a normal hug. Maybe a smallish peck on the cheek but nothing more.

Air-kissing? Heck with that. There's no touch involved, and girls like to be touched, so......

Whenever I meet one of my lady "friends", I always greet with a hug and a kiss, usually on the cheek. Also do this when leaving. I even do it with their boyfriends around (no problems yet). Now, most of them fully expect it - it's become my standard greeting. Sometimes I'll fake like I've forgot, and 99% of the time the girl will put her arms out for me. Of course there is a couple of gals that not only get the obligatory hug and kiss, but I'll pick them up briefly in the process (to let them know their special). It goes over really well.

latin people kiss once on the cheek when they meet(mostly the right cheek)a man kissing a girl on the cheek is okay, a girl kissing another girl on the cheek is ok, a man kissing anoter guy in the cheek is gay, unless you´re italian and european people kiss twice on the cheek, one kiss on each cheek. in latinamerica you don´t even have to know the girl before kissing her on the cheek(as a greeting)for example you see a girl friend and shes with other girls and you go up to your girl friend to say hi and give her a kiss on the cheek, then shep´ll introduce her friends to you and you kiss each of them on the cheek, the same as americans shake hands with girls. If you´re latin and you shake a latin girls hand when introducing yourself, you´ll come off as cold and too serious. If even seen hotties kiss ugly ass guys with acne on theire cheeks, its no big deal.
