"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Guy A:
  • Is dating a woman who considers him a great catch
  • The guy always uses condoms when they have sex
  • Subtly makes it known to her that he may be fvcking other women as long as they don't have the 'exclusivity talk'

Guy B:
  • Is dating a woman who considers him a great catch
  • The guy never uses condoms when they have sex, tells her he can't maintain an erection and therefor never uses them.
  • Subtly makes it known to her that he may be fvcking other women as long as they don't have the 'exclusivity talk'

Now let's assume both women see potential for a serious relationship with their guy. Do you think Guy B's woman will initiate the 'exclusivity talk' sooner than Guy A's woman, because she knows in the back of her mind that this will also reduce the risk of catching an STD? Or would it make no difference?

I'm curious to hear your thoughts and experiences on this!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Preventing catching an STD isn't usually a reason to push for exclusivity. Not wanting him to show affection to other women would be a more likely reason to want exclusivity.

To be honest, a girl that forgoes protection and knows you are sleeping with other girls is either very naive about STDs or doesn't care about STDs. And that girl has likely had unprotected sex with other guys.

Why is that not a red flag? Herpes is for life.

TS, not sure the relevance? It simply doesn't matter. I've been a raw dawg warrior before. It did not end well. Lots of testing and anxiety. The thought of herpes and HIV is terrifying.

Leave feelers to women and small children. I never bring up the talk. And my usual response is the following:

"I am not in that place in my life right now. When I get there, I will let you know," followed by taking my **** out.
