"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I guess Im gonna do one of these journal things, I should probably start with a little background info on me,

I lived in Valrico,fl for pretty much all my life until the end of the first semester my sophmore year, when my mom found out about my smoking of the pot haha, Ive been a stoner since I was 13 and Im 16 now, so its pretty amazing I havent been caught until then, any way so I finished my sophmore year in Olney Md with my dad, and now Im back, Its summer of 2012 and Im going into my junior year.
I have been really skinny ever since I started taking Adderall(prescribed) which was when I was about 6, and I mean really skinny, people think Im anorexic, Im pretty smart, and most girls would rate me like a 7.5, when I ask them.
I've never really had a girlfriend or anything, never kissed a girl either.
It's not that some girls havent been interested(some have even out right told me) It's that Im either picky or I havent escalated.
Anyway putting that aside, basically whats happened so far this summer is
ME and my friends smoking a **** load of weed :p, I was textin this girl lets call her HB stoner chick haha, hot, awesome tits, I was txting her and I dont really remember what I said it wasnt anything to crazy but, the next day I Imed her on facebook she didnt reply It was obvious she was on, then 2 days later I txted her still no reply, so Im not sure If shes mad at me or what, but Im not sure what to do about that. Talkin to this other girl right now who we shall call HB hippie haha, she's really cool decent looks im txting her. I've only really met her the week before I moved to MD, so I dont know her to well. Anyway It seems like a lot of friends have kinda abandoned me which is no big deal I still have my Crewbies so thats rad haha.
Anyway my game has really improved since I started really just going hame and not being scared of doing stuff, so thats pretty rad haha,
Goals:
1. Improve with my music
2.Get a Job
3. Get new friends
4. get my License
5. Get a job
6. get sponsored Longboarding.
7. Build muscle/Gain weight
8.Get laid like a MOFO
9. Go HAM and party like a beast this summer!

Please advice and tips would be awesome, Smart criticism is appreciated.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I really do eat a lot and I'm gonna totally start working out today, as for the weed, there isn't much to do for this summer, IDK as many people as I used to here. but I'm definitely going to quit when school starts.

I can guarantee you don't actually eat a lot. Most guys in your situation say they do and they're almost always wrong.
What program are you using?
So what if others use? There's a ton more you could do. I don't believe you're going to quit, those promises are generally empty

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

After starting this nutrition program from bodybuilding.com I agree with you on me not eating a lot before haha I was totally wrong, and I mean I kinda live in a small town I don't have a car or much money so there really isnt much to do, as for quitting I've quit before I know how to quit, you just cut your smoking down with goals until you stop, I'm only smoking once a week now, and I wont be smoking at all when school starts haha. The workout routine im using is http://scoobysworkshop.com/teen-workout-plan/
because I don't really have money or way to get to the gym.

Your totally right about not eating a lot, after using the nutrition guide from bodybuilding.com I realized I don't eat nearly as much as I thought, I've eaten a **** load today. I felt really good after my workout, I'm following http://scoobysworkshop.com/teen-workout-plan/ right now. I totally didn't make it to my friends house, so I started working on a new song that's coming out totally rad. I'm using Ableton for any of you music producers who are wondering.
I have cut down my smoking to once a week, and Ill definitely just stop once school comes around, I might even stop before when my dad ships my Longboard so that way Ill have something to pass the time. I've quit before so I'm pretty sure I can do it again. I'm really excited about this journal thing, I'm already getting smart criticism and I really do appreciate it so thanks guys. Im still wondering what I should do about HB Stoner Chick. I'm not sure if i should just txt her and ask if shes ignoring me or what. Im doin this now cause Im heading to my friend's party. Peace dudes!

Oh god, don't go anywhere near scooby and his advice. His workouts suck majorly and he honestly knows nothing. Google Starting Strength or Stronglifts, they're great beginners programs. You'll bulk up and your strength will go up a good deal.

I'm 83kgs at 6', 11% body fat.
That's not the point though. Scooby is an idiot. He still proclaims eating 6+ times a day as being essential, states that fasting is useless and ketogenic diets don't work. He believes crunches are best ab exercise possible. He bases his knowledge on recycled bodybuilding forum crap. At his age, steroids have minimal side effects and looking like he does is easy.
I do a ton of reading and research, I know what works and what doesn't. Ask Jack Wealthy about scooby, he'll say the same as I do.

I was inferring a picture. I can't give an expert's opinion on Scooby because I am not some well-traveled physical trainer. His information is valuable, just take a look at all of the success stories he showcases on his page. I also don't know where you get this crunch=best ab workout crap. His ab workout has bicycles, hanging leg raises, and side planks...so yeah...

Anyway Twig, here are 3 routines I would swear by, I have done each of them for several months and can give an honest opinion on each:

Scooby's Advanced Teen Workout: Good for getting a start. You'll bulk up a little bit and quickly increase your weights if you're just starting out. Scooby is good for giving you basic information on fitness and nutrition. You don't have to maximize everything to be successful here, just stick to a schedule and eat well, and plenty.

Starting Strength: While I disagree with DanZy's opinion on Scooby, I found this routine to be excellent. Found it on bodybuilding.com when I asked about ways to bulk up before football. Like you I had trouble gaining weight, and was always really lean. It involves high weight, low reps, and encourages you to increase the weight EVERY workout. This is the longest workout of the 3 that I will post, as I have spent between 1.5 and 2 hours in the gym when I reached heavy weights on this routine. Must eat a lot of food and have plenty of protein to find success here. I gained about 20lbs of muscle during the summer when I tried this, lost some definition though.

21 Workout Routines (Advanced Bodyweight Routine): This is what I currently do, and is probably the most difficult of the 3. It will not make your muscles as sore as Starting Strength, but it will kick your @$$. I can only recommend this if you are already somewhat fit and really want to get cut while maintaining strength. It is very short, around 40 minutes per workout. But you get very short breaks...it is a circuit workout (do all exercises for one set, then repeat the process, as opposed to doing all 3 sets of one exercise before moving onto the next). You will be tired, you will feel nauseous, and you will be sweaty. This routine, along with cardio, has cut down almost all the fat I have left on my body while increasing my endurance and maintaining the muscle I've already built. Favorite routine, one of the hardest.

So do whichever is most designed for your goal. Reply if you have questions. And just to compare to DanZy, I am 81.6kg/180lbs, 6 feet tall, and have around 10% bodyfat according to the physical I received today.

He has several basics right but most of what he says is bull****. On his site, he literally says that the crunch is the best ab exercise. Scroll down to the bottom, under Ab exercise Videos
I looked at the "success" stories. I'm actually appalled. Overweight guys became underweight guys with minimal muscle mass. The muscle gain success stories were shocking. At most, guys gained 20lbs over two years after being horrifically skinny. That's terrible. You just said how you gained that amount in a summer! Most of the pictures are taken under directly overheard light so their abs look better too.

Some of Scooby's advice is sound but he is just so behind the times. Much of his advice is outdated and not backed up by science. He's a tool but whatever.

How the **** did you spend 1,5 to 2 hours in the gym on Starting Strength?! How long were you waiting between sets?? It's 3 exercises a workout, you're done in less than an hour; at least I always am. That's going heavy on everything.

First off, Scooby is a person that will give you a good start. I haven't seen him train any bodybuilders but he offers sound advice for cutting fat, putting on some muscle, and getting into a healthy lifestyle without a gym membership.

Why does his advice have to be backed by science to be correct? I love working out because I don't have to really think about it. I eat healthy, work out hard, and it translates to muscles. You can get as in depth as you want but that's what it boils down to.

As far as Starting Strength, I had long rest periods when I started getting into what I consider heavy weights. I kept them under 10 minutes, but they were still long at their peaks. As I said before you are probably stronger than me - I aim to be aesthetic and am super pleased with the physique I have.

Finally, for Twig, think of the routines this way:

Advanced Teen Workout = Good for beginners

Starting Strength = Good for gaining muscle weight (will also gain fat)

21 Workout Routines (Advanced Bodyweight Routine) = Excellent for overall fitness and defition

Choose accordingly.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Thanks BPH for breaking that down for me dude, I think Im gonna do starting strength right now just so I can atleast bulk up and not be so skinny.
Anyway, Im so stoked cause today I finally got my longboard back which mean I sorta have a means of transportation so things should get a little more interesting. Yesterday really has no pick up relevance but it turned into a pretty funny story,
Me & my friends were trying to find a place to smoke so we decided to smoke behind this abandoned house, well all of a sudden we see this guy who was talking on the phone pacing in front of the house, so we were like ****! we need to get the **** outta here. so we started to jump the fence my friend Chris went first, then after my friend mark jumped but he fell and hit his ribs on a tree stump, we laughed at first because we thought he was humping the ground or something, but then he got up and he was freakin out, so the rest of jumped and we needed to find a place to sit to see if mark was alright, he had a huge ****in bruise on his ribs so we weren't sure if he was okay or not. We had to carry him to his house, which was sketchy and my other friends had to go home but we were high as ****, so we basically just kinda hid out and ****. It wasn't cool as it was happening but it funny now. Peace dude!!:D
