"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Irresistable character vs The Game.

That's a debate I often stage in my mind. I picture James Bond debating with Mystery, but I can never draw a conclusion.

So I want to play a little game with yawl.

I'm going to ask a question, and I want you to answer in YOUR fashion. Before you answer I want you to tell me what religion you follow: pickup (Or as I call, social manipulation - Mystery) or persona (aka magnetic personality - charm, cool demeanour, humour, etc - James Bond).

By the way, I realize some of you might scoff because I'm comparing James Bond, a character of fiction, to Mystery, a living breathing person. But since I've never met either, and read about both in equal amounts, they're pretty much equally real to me.

Question 1:
Why is what you do, better for you?

Question 2:
What's your biggest strength and weakness?

Question 3:
Does it take effort to do what you do. (Note... I don't mean "To LEARN what you do")

Question 4:
Are you happy with others being like you.

Question 5:
Is Tyler Durden a stupid fvcknut who you'd love to slaughter slowly and violoenty? ;)

Question 6:
For long term success with women (Yes, I do mean relationships) what do you think your opponents greatest weakness is.

Question 7:
For short term success with women (lays), why is your opponents technique worse than yours.

Question 8:
Do you agree with most of what your opponent preaches? Or would you say your own method is on the opposite side of the coin?

Question 9:
Describe your method in 1 paragraph.

More questions to follow if anyone's actually interested enough to follow through.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Religion: None of the Above - Natural Don Juan

Question 1:
Why is what you do, better for you?

I feel more confident then pulling canned lines out of my ass, I have NO PRESSURE of needing them to like me to keep the confidence because that isnt' my intention mostly.

Question 2:
What's your biggest strength and weakness?

Strength - Natural conversation
Weakness - Slighty shy.

Question 3:
Does it take effort to do what you do. (Note... I don't mean "To LEARN what you do")

No, being a Natural Don Juan draws upon already developed skill sets. Conversation, Flirting, The GUT FEELING and being relaxed are just a few of the already learned skills from birth and life.

Question 4:
Are you happy with others being like you.

I'd like to see more of it. Nothing is worse then trying to act all cool and all like you are **** hot and watching them crash and burn, and you talk to the same girl, and you aren't in it for end result.

Question 5:
Is Tyler Durden a stupid fvcknut who you'd love to slaughter slowly and violoenty?

I dont' know who that is, sorry.

Question 6:
For long term success with women (Yes, I do mean relationships) what do you think your opponents greatest weakness is.

I'm assuming this question is asking in terms of other ways (PUA, Mystery, etc)

I think the greatest weakness of Mystery Method and PUA's is that it isn't natural feeling. It's all played out and using already abused lines to start up the conversation. I do not disagree that they are effective but non the less, for LTR, it isn't all about being smooth and mysterious, you HAVE to show some personality.

Question 7:
For short term success with women (lays), why is your opponents technique worse than yours.

Natural game isn't focused on lays so yes, being a PUA or a Mysterious person is advantagous.

Question 8:
Do you agree with most of what your opponent preaches? Or would you say your own method is on the opposite side of the coin?

All methods draw on each other. ****y and Funny is a bit of everywhere, and the same with shattests and the like. All methods are subject to everything a girl can dish out, and it's not the method that can save you, it's being smart about recognizing and acting when you see it.

Question 9:
Describe your method in 1 paragraph.

Act somewhat normal, don't focus on getting the girl, but enjoy meeting her. Incorporating other styles and ways of influencing into your own personality and it will reap benefits.

Thanks Docs...

And just to clear something up... I just call the DJ religion the persona religion. Because the main focus, in my belief, is on developing your personality to have the positive attributes you mentioned in your post.

So you've read The Game and you now believe that you know EVERYTHING about the PUA community. You are judging Tyler Durden by the book, but I doubt you have even read any of his posts. The guy is brilliant in field, and understands it very well. I won't defend Tyler Durden more, to those who read "The Game" you've only uncovered 5% of the community, the top of the iceberg.

Don Juan vs. PUA

Lets see, it's easier to be a PUA than a Don Juan. Keep in mind, the pick up arts doesn't define us, it enriches our life. More people become PUA's because it's achievable. Where as a Don Juan is like nirvana, you need to be so ****ing enlightened to even consider yourself a Don Juan.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Yea, it's easier to be a PUA, but that's all a PUA is, there's no development elsewhere. THAT is the seperation between PUA and Don Juan, and typically, a PUA has weaker character in the end.

But keep doing what you do, I flame nothing.

Religion: persona (i would like to call it natural)

Question 1: Why is what you do, better for you?
Being older, out of school and working for a small company I find I meet women via others. I don't think running "game" on your friend's friends would be a go idea.

Question 2: What's your biggest strength and weakness?
Strength: Strong character.
Weakness: Overweight.

Question 3:
Does it take effort to do what you do. (Note... I don't mean "To LEARN what you do")
No. There is no off to the Kaptain switch.

Question 4:
Are you happy with others being like you.
Yes. I encourage it.

Question 5:
Is Tyler Durden a stupid fvcknut who you'd love to slaughter slowly and violoenty? ;)
No.

Question 6:
For long term success with women (Yes, I do mean relationships) what do you think your opponents greatest weakness is.
You can't be a PUA 24/7

Question 7:
For short term success with women (lays), why is your opponents technique worse than yours.
Can't think of anything

Question 8:
Do you agree with most of what your opponent preaches? Or would you say your own method is on the opposite side of the coin?
Opposite side of the coin. Too many rules.

Question 9:
Describe your method in 1 paragraph.
Always be a man. Always keep you power. Always act. Have fun. Use C&F on chicks.

Thank you Mystery. Those were his words EXACTLY.

I hate it when people get obsessed with certain personalities in the community and start quoting them in everyday conversations without giving them credit.

And in Mystery's case, pick up arts DO define his life. He's got a good game plan and great program to learn pick up arts, but he's a hipocrite in almost everything he says. He says to quit porn and wanking and what not but if you read The Game you see that he himself is addicted to porn and beats his meat all the time.

He also says that whole "it doesn't define our lives" thing but everything he does is about pick up. He's spent years even with a girlfriend on the side going out and picking up. He's been quite obsessed with perfecting his techniques, and he even works as a pick up coach. If that's not defining your life I don't know what is.

Religion... manipulative natural

Question 1:
Why is what you do, better for you?

I get a lot of feedback about my game

Question 2:
What's your biggest strength and weakness?

Strength...
Manipulation: I can read auras.
Natural: I am very approachable.
Weakness...
Manipulation: To be able to learn, I must walk in the subjects shoes.
Natural: I have a tendency to procrastinate, procrastination is an understatement

Question 3:
Does it take effort to do what you do. (Note... I don't mean "To LEARN what you do")

Very smooth transition from one social group to the next, takes effort to tell people to stop following me. I feel bad every time I must tell somebody to stop talking to me, believing future interactions will go sour. Even though they rarely ever do.

Question 4:
Are you happy with others being like you.

Hey the more people know ME, the more I believe in ME, and the more I learn about ME. So yes, others being LIKE me, is exciting.

Question 5:
Is Tyler Durden a stupid fvcknut who you'd love to slaughter slowly and violoenty? ;)

beep gleep glurp, I am a robot :p
Serioulsy, TD is cool, obviously never met the guy, but he ain't a tard in my book yet.

Question 6:
For long term success with women (Yes, I do mean relationships) what do you think your opponents greatest weakness is.

The lack of spontaniety and using their environment as a tool.

Question 7:
For short term success with women (lays), why is your opponents technique worse than yours.

They falter in the AMOG area, and tend to concentrate on a single subject for too long.

I believe that is where my greatest weakness comes in to play, I do not pursue something if there are many competing factors involved. I am not a team player.

Question 8:
Do you agree with most of what your opponent preaches? Or would you say your own method is on the opposite side of the coin?

I have built my castle upon the world, everything that has come before me is below me... I provide nothing to the world that has not already been said and done.

Question 9:
Describe your method in 1 paragraph.

one paragraph is impossible...
one word though...
Social Proof

Its easier to be a PUA and learn all their tricks/tactics, but like they say, nothing big comes easy. With PUA tricks, they can be caught on by women (especially with books like "The Game"), or else they become obsolete when too many inexperienced PUAs use them.

With the whole "self-improvement" concept, it is much harder, but you get the overall package. You don't have to worry about becoming obsolete, and you don't need to constantly learn/memorise new material.

Personally, I don't think we should focus on this DJ vs PUA debate so much. Just take the best out of both philosophies, and do what makes you happy.

Religion: Just being me and striving to be my best/the prize/DJ.

Question 1:
Why is what you do, better for you?

It all comes naturally. I feel confident with myself and I can back it up; people are drawn to me and admire me; society favours me; women are attracted to me without any persuasion or work; I'm living well and enjoying life.

Question 2:
What's your biggest strength and weakness?

Strength: Social/conversational skills
Weakness: Quite hesitant and not assertive enough.

Question 3:
Does it take effort to do what you do. (Note... I don't mean "To LEARN what you do")

Yes, it's all about discipline and pushing myself to be my best. It's not something I can turn on or off when it suits me.

Question 4:
Are you happy with others being like you.

Yes as I think it would be good for them. A lot of people don't live to their potential. If they started to recognise what they are capable of, they'd find life and attracting women a lot easier.

Question 5:
Is Tyler Durden a stupid fvcknut who you'd love to slaughter slowly and violoenty?

I disapprove of any "guru" who profits from downtrodden guys in the way he does. I have no respect for him, but haven't studied much of his material so can't judge how well it works. I find it hard to believe he has any magic shortcuts though.

Question 6:
For long term success with women (Yes, I do mean relationships) what do you think your opponents greatest weakness is.

A PUA or anyone who puts on an act or performance will eventually reveal their true personality...the unattractive personality they're so desperate to hide behind gimmicks and personas etc.

Question 7:
For short term success with women (lays), why is your opponents technique worse than yours.

Because they have to go approaching numbers of women, face rejections and work hard to persuade women into giving in. Yet being naturally attractive makes getting laid as easy as clicking your fingers.

Question 8:
Do you agree with most of what your opponent preaches? Or would you say your own method is on the opposite side of the coin?

There is a lot to be learned from both sides. The core PUA philosophy of being confident, charming, bold and not letting women walk over you etc has a lot of value IF you can absorb it and make it part of who you are. I also believe that the gimmicks and techniques can be worthwhile as a crutch just to give guys a little confidence and faith. What I don't agree with is that saying or doing the "right" thing (i.e. one liners etc) will make women attracted to you.

Question 9:
Describe your method in 1 paragraph.

Just make the most of your potential and become the best you can be, physically, socially and mentally.

Question 1:
Why is what you do, better for you?

Because I try to make everything i do an improvement of myself.
Question 2:
What's your biggest strength and weakness?
biggest strength-patience
biggest weakness-?

Question 3:
Does it take effort to do what you do. (Note... I don't mean "To LEARN what you do")
YES

Question 4:
Are you happy with others being like you:
of course.

Question 5:
Is Tyler Durden a stupid fvcknut who you'd love to slaughter slowly and violoenty?
I wouldnt like to kill him, I dont see everyone's fascination about him, his character was cool in a movie, and thats just it a movie.

Question 6:
For long term success with women (Yes, I do mean relationships) what do you think your opponents greatest weakness is: Opponent?
if you are talking about other guys, they are not my opponents. We all have weaknesses.

Question 7:
For short term success with women (lays), why is your opponents technique worse than yours?
I think im more forward, and crazy. I only sex girls im in a really deep relationship with.

Question 8:
Do you agree with most of what your opponent preaches? Or would you say your own method is on the opposite side of the coin?
This question is stupid, I dont have an opponent and he doesnt preach anything.

Question 9:
Describe your method in 1 paragraph?

You need to get off this site, there is no method, there is no structure to theese kinds of things. Being yourself should be your method to getting the things you want. IF you have to adopt a method or put on a persona to get the things you want, than you need to work on yourself FIRST.

Out of the 2 methods, I subscribe more to the pickup artist/social manipulation or whatever techniques

Question 1:
Why is what you do, better for you?
because I am not a 'natural' at the game. I was mediocre at getting girls before using the stuff on this website and other smilar stuff.

Question 2:
What's your biggest strength and weakness?
Strength: Self belief/confidence, I nvr question whether a woman is 'outa my league' etc. and I am persitent as hell....."make the ho say no" -Gunwitch This grealty helps me achieve the results i want
Weakness: Not being a natural is a weakness...it means I am a 'fake' in a sense...but who cares if it gets u laid :)

Question 3:
Does it take effort to do what you do. (Note... I don't mean "To LEARN what you do")
Yea, like I said I wasn't particularly good with women back in the day, so yea it does take effort...but its starting to become more natural.

Question 4:
Are you happy with others being like you.
Yea I dont see why I wouldnt be

Question 5:
Is Tyler Durden a stupid fvcknut who you'd love to slaughter slowly and violoenty?
I have no idea who that is but the name reminds me of the guy from fight club who i thought was cool as hell.

Question 6:
For long term success with women (Yes, I do mean relationships) what do you think your opponents greatest weakness is.
I cant think of one really, its the pick up artist who has the disadvantage here.

Question 7:
For short term success with women (lays), why is your opponents technique worse than yours.
because it relies on him being "himself" to an extent, which some women may not like. A PUA can adapt/change to a particular woman to give him a better chance of that lay.

Question 8:
Do you agree with most of what your opponent preaches? Or would you say your own method is on the opposite side of the coin?
No most of what my opponent preaches is sound.

Question 9:
Describe your method in 1 paragraph.
Pretty similar to gunwicth method. Isolate ->"sexual state" -> f or number close. Not focusing too much on what is said etc. (just read the dam gunwitch method)

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Question 1:
Why is what you do, better for you?

I can be myself and never have to worry about not being "on".

Question 2:
What's your biggest strength and weakness?

I'm able to talk to anyone about anything. The problem is when the other person grabs on and won't let go.

Question 3:
Does it take effort to do what you do. (Note... I don't mean "To LEARN what you do")

Not any more. Being self confident without worrying how other people perceive me helps most.

Question 4:
Are you happy with others being like you.

There isn't anyone like me. Aren't we all supposed to be unique?

Question 5:
Is Tyler Durden a stupid fvcknut who you'd love to slaughter slowly and violoenty? ;)

Tyler who? (Yes, I read the book)

Question 6:
For long term success with women (Yes, I do mean relationships) what do you think your opponents greatest weakness is.

If you are asking about PUA I feel that they value quantity over quality. If you asking about the typical guy on the street, they are "nice guys."

Question 7:
For short term success with women (lays), why is your opponents technique worse than yours.

You could end up with a chow hound that you can't beat away with a stick no matter how hard you try.

Question 8:
Do you agree with most of what your opponent preaches? Or would you say your own method is on the opposite side of the coin?

I'm impressed with the Mystery Method, I even may actually use a couple of his concepts. I just don't want to be a PUA. I don't have that much time to juggle so many woman.

Question 9:
Describe your method in 1 paragraph.

Charismatic charm with ample flirtation including kino, stimulating a woman's senses in public in such a way that intregues her into wondering how I am in private. ;)
