"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Along your travels through the country, you've come across a beautiful piece of land in the distance. It looks incredibly nice with lots of trees, a small lake, and would be a great place for you to build a nice little getaway for yourself. You've done some research and have learned a little bit about this land. However, there is one problem... between you and this nice piece of land, there is a large ditch. It's about 30 feet wide, and 30 feet deep. At the bottom of the ditch, there are many large sharp rocks.

So what do you do? You take a running jump, hoping to land on the other side. You don't make it, and fall into the ditch, getting hurt on the rocks at the bottom.

That was pretty stupid, wasn't it.

Liken this piece of land to a beautiful woman. You'd love to explore her and build a nice relationship with her. You've taken a running jump toward her, but she has rejected you. You have fallen and got hurt.

This is the way many men hope to achieve the woman they desire. They hope that they can start building a relationship right off the hop. It never works, and they get hurt trying to do this. What would be the smarter way of going about it?

Instead of taking a running jump, you get yourself some lumber and slowly begin building a bridge to cross the ditch.

Likewise with ANY relationship, you need to take the steps to progress into the relationship that you're hoping to achieve. But before you begin building that bridge, you're going to need the materials and tools to do it.

1) Approach her and talk to her
You're never going to get anywhere if you just sit there staring at her beauty. You need to take action and find out if she's worth your time by talking to her. You also need the tools to get her interested and progress further. Kino, ****y + funny, and confidence will help you.

2) Get her phone number
After you have got her phone number, you have something to work with.

3) Call her to set up the date
Chit chat on the phone won't get you anywhere. Talking about building a bridge won't get you anywhere either. You need to get some physical material to work with. You also need a plan on what you're going to do on this date. You need to set a time and date.

4) Go on the first date
This is where you begin your building. You get to know her more, you get her comfortable being around you, and you show her that she's on the best date of her life.

5) Establish physical contact
Whether it be kino, a kiss, or sex, you need to establish some sort of physical contact if you want to get anywhere.

6) More dating
You've already started on this project, so why not continue? You're in a STR, and you're building support for your developing relationship with her. Well, at least I hope you are, or things are going to crumble!

7) Decision to continue
There comes a point where you're finished building your basic bridge. You now explore the land and see if it's worth going ahead to build more upon this relationship. You explore the ground to see if there's any red flags that could lead to problems. If it's soaked with water, full of rocks or has emotional baggage, you're going to run into a bunch of problems.

If you decide to continue building this relationship into a long term investment, you can plant some romance to make it nicer. If you plant too much, it'll become problematic, time-comsuming, and possibly turn your relationship into a mess.

If you decide that this relationship is going to be far too costly and time consuming to maintain, go back to the other side of the bridge and blow it up. Do not return to it as you've learned it's not worth your time and energy to develope it any further. Go explore other land.

A long-term relationship is something that is developed over time. You cannot have one without going through the basics of building it first. So men, quit taking that leap into the sharp rocks without thinking! Keep your head on straight, think before you act, and you'll be much more successful at achieving what you want! If you find that she is not worth your time, don't just sit and cry about your losses. Go look for something else you desire.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
