1. Dumbass kids. Not that hard to stay the hell away from drugs. Just say no...it takes more effort to find the ****, sell it, and not get caught. Those kids deserved what they got and they're idiots.

2. Pharm - the pharm industry is responsible for getting us our meds. If you don't want meds, don't buy them or take them, but I like claritin and bayer to have around when I need them.

3. Marijiuana as a "medical drug" is a pretty dumb idea. People against pharm are in support of this? The idiots reveal themselves once again.

There is no "natural" cure to anything. The "synthetic" stuff is exactly the same as the "natural" thing. It's the same goddam molecule except one is in a pill and another is a plant. It's the same thing though. People need to understand this and stop living in bull**** inspired worlds.

No, "it's natural" isn't some magic property that makes something safe, since all venoms, cocaine, and viruses are all 'natural'.

However, synthetics are also not always identical. For one thing, look up isomers. Even if a molecule is made up of the same atoms, their arrangement can give it slightly different properties, which could have unforeseen effects.

Further, when something is in its natural context there are often hundreds of enzymes and other chemicals that may act together, and not only do we not understand all of these factors, but even when we do, we don't account for them. In many cases synthetics are the one active ingredient, other compounds that normally work together are not included.

Besides, explain this: Many synthetic vitamins have been linked to cancer, I'm thinking specifically A, E, and I think C. If you've never heard of this I can find references, but you probably have.

Now tell me the last time eating lots of fruits and veggies with those vitamins has given somebody cancer?

Where does the difference come from if they're identical?

Yeah there's a lot of cops in the world that are criminals with a badge and go into the profession to abuse their power under the guise of serving the public and a lot of drug dealers are scum that find all sorts of reasons to justify helping people kill themselves so they can make some easy money and not have to really work for a living.

On the other hand there are good cops out there who get into the job for exactly what the motto "protect and serve" means like Serpico and other less famous cops all around the world and there are drug dealers that in reality are good at heart and don't want to be doing what they are doing out there that unfortunately are forced into this lifestyle if they want to continue living because there are no real opportunities to get out of poverty and put food on the table other than the criminal lifestyle because of where they live.

Of course many synthetics are different in structure because they include the other isomers of the compound. It is very difficult to get a reaction to produce 100% of a product and many impurities may lead to the cancer or abnormalities you state.

In addition like you say, we do not know how most things in the body work in regards to chemicals, esp synthetics. We know this all too well. Pick up your nearest bottle of medicine and look at all those side-effects. Nature is the best, and it is difficult to mimic it. However, there are other methods of "relieving pain" than giving "medical" marijuana.

Moreover, there are certain chemicals that are the same whether you grow it from your garden or make it in a lab. These molecules are the same because that is what they are. However, whether these exact molecules are in what pills we injest as vitamins, viagra, or tylenol, that we are never sure of.

Lastly, I have never heard of Vit A, E, C pills giving people cancer. If you can give me a peer reviewed paper on it then I would appreciate it since that is interesting news.

Of course there are. I think thats silly excuse not to use it though.
First off, I don't even drink let alone do drugs.

But I don't understand why nobody has a problem giving people in severe pain man-made drugs such as oxycotin and morphine that are known to be very easily addicted to.

There is way too much emiprical data so suggest that marijuana is an effective pain releiver with little side effects and an extremely low risk of addiction (yes, I've seen people addicted to it but it is rare.)

Why woud you rather someone go on a drug (like oxycotin) that will almost surely lead to addiction and cost them alot of money when marijuana can be as or more effective, cheap, and relitivly safe?

Until you have lived with dehabillitating pain, you have no idea how bad it is.
Some people live in agony and only find relief in marijuana. These guys are not stoners. Of course they have tried other forms of medication.

And yes, they have made a synthesized type of "marijuana". But it has been shown to be more phsycoactive and less effective for pain with more side effects (extreme altered moods.) Why would you prefer this to a natural, more effective remedy?

Why not let them and their doctors decide what course of treatment is best?
