and floss your teeth
Use a "pre-brush mouth wash" also. Something like "Plax." It loosens all the crap on your teeth and in between. Combine that with flossing before, brushing, mouthwash, and a tounge scraper, your mouth would be so clean you could eat off it.

if you brush your tongue with a strong toothpaste you shouldn't get bad breath. if you still have it, i recomend those green strips or altoids.
