"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

This is what happens when you take slow, deep breaths from the diaphragm: Throat muscles relax and cause your voice to deepen. More oxygen flows to the brain, causing you to be calmer and more confident.

Doesn't matter who you are; If you walk to someone and look them straight in the eye and speak in a deep, calm and confident voice you can sell yourself with ease. Whether you're after a woman or trying to sell a vacuum cleaner. Breathing is key. BIG key if not THE!

I didn't bother searching for other threads addressing this issue because I'm sure they already exist. But this is so important it bares repetition.

Automatic deep breathing doesn't come over time. Just keep this in mind and try to take deep, slow breaths whenever you catch yourself breathing rapidly or from the chest rather than the diaphragm, and watch for tension in muscles. Especially around the neck and shoulders and try to relax.

..and live in the moment..

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Well Said.

I'm big into the breath.
You can pretty much steer your conciousness through breath control.

I've been using my breath for awhile now, for whatever purpose the moment calls for. But lately, been trying to naturally breathe deep and easy... due to it being a sticking point in my Martial Arts, mid sparring.

The more relaxed, and naturally deep your breathing is... the wider your field of awareness... thus energetic sense of power/control is. A definite approach to the mastery of self.

Def. worth the note. Good to bring more awareness to such a powerful and constant phenomena. Guarenteed you'll see the Alpha in you strengthening through mindful deep breathing. Cheers All'
