The same limitations that keep a dog from performing simple calculus will prevent us from achieving those sorts of feats. Those of us who have done math at the college level can attest to a small degree in having at least been able to see the solution to a given problem. People who are dumbfounded by physics, applies math and the like lack this intuitiveness for the most part IMO.
Really is amazing to see what the brain is capable of. Also interesting to note that nature did not intend on the brain ever achieving such feats outside of the small one billionths of a percent who do.
