Whew that was a close one. But fix up the bible someone. What a great time for Eternal to take a vacation. Someone please help.

Not quite sure how "eternal taking a vacation" is involved in the DJB's dissapearance.

The DJB no longer exists. My university Computer Society web-space expired over the weekend, leaving me without a usable php-enabled server. All I have is static-space (ie, HTML only) on my personal web space given by my ISP. I can convert the DJB into a static page if people wish and give a new address.

Despite its vanishing, I'm happy with the 150,000 page views the bible generated over the course of two and a half years.

I'm looking into using my workplace's web server to distribute my files in the future. This may take a while.

Nicholas, how much bandwidth did the Bible consume per month? I've got my own domain - one that won't expire - that I could potentially donate space on to host the Bible in it's entirety.

I just say we start a debate forums on wich we would make our permanent stands on various DJ topics so that it would be easier to have a good BS detector once everything is compiled in a single file.

Hey guys, this is my first post and I've been browsing around DJ's site for some time now. I'd also like to point out that the bootcamp can't be accessed just like the DJ Bible can't.... I was going to start bootcamp this week too..

I say good riddence. The bible was filled with good points but many were just too much theory for a newcomer to handle.

Of course pook`s post about not dying alone and never giving up made sence but its way too "dramatic".

I say we start from scratch with posts made to be kept as complete guides and not only posts becoming guides later on.

HEY! you know what. This happened before when the Bible was just in HTML form. On the old old DJ forums. someone posted a link to it a long time ago... I'm going to go with the above posters.

Instead of looking at this as a negative, lets look at the positive, this gives us the ability to recreate the spotlight, and BETTER, the ability to create new articles that surrmount the bible and break the glass roof. A lot of people looked at the bible as the ultimate authority, when it was really just a great bunch of posts. Maybe without the bible some people might get creative and we might see a new pook emerge.

We can re-invent the wheel.
