"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Sometimes when I try to tell my girl i'm upset she'll flip out and be like huh, what? I didn't do anything wrong.

Last night she told me she'll call me when she wakes up so I know when she'll be over to swim. But she didn't even call me and 2:00pm rolled around and I called her and she's like I'm going to mall with friends I was like ugh.. okay ttyl.

Then i texted her "Thanks for calling me, i've been sitting around chilling to hear from you like you told me you we're going to call now you're going out so have fun!"

She replied, "Oh my god."

i didn't reply.

I was pretty pissed because if i had known she was not coming over to swim, I would have gone out to do something.

What are better ways to express my anger?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

In my opinion, you shouldn't have been so emotionally affected by that. You really should have better things to entertain yourself other than sitting around waiting for her phone call. I'm not saying she's not wrong. Afterall, she did promise to call but fail to do so, but I'm just saying that it's only a little phone call. Don't worry about it too much. The last thing you want to be is too needy.

Here is the problem though guys... the fact of the matter is its too late... She already knows that HE is more into her then SHE is into him.. and he let the leash go.. i.e. you could have before made a rule that if you agree to something then you have to stick with it, otherwise dont agree in the first place... i.e. ultimatly that is what makes up a relationship (trust)... in your case.. her interest level is not HIGH enough for her to CARE!!!!...
The best thing to do is to start macking on new girls so that all of your eggs are not in one basket... But if you cant do it emotionally... NEXT THAT B>ITCH MAN.... think about it.. you just tried to tell her something is bothering you and she replied with "I DONT GIVE A FCK" i.e. I bet if you were sick she would have gone to the mall and NOT GIVE A FCK.... find new P.USSEY!!!!

First of all, you shouldn't have texted her. You should've called her on it right then and there.

Second, if you two already had plans to swim, then she should've given you enough respect to call ahead of time to cancel (or more ideally, never even entertain the thought of cancelling on you). Also, ideally you should've already set a time when you first discussed going swimming.

What are your stats with this girl (Ages/Length of Relationship/Etc)? Sounds like she has no respect for you or what you're feeling.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

All about compliance, she denyed your compliance (Not going swimming) you should have told her she has to make it up to you by doing something. (Maybe get her to stop by with some food she bought for you) That way compliance doesn't go down. Don't express that your mad just give her IODs for things you dislike, make sure your keeping that Push/Pull dynamic going on constantly.

If you're upset, be upfront with her about it. I would have said, "I was looking forward to swimming with you and I am disappointed that you went shopping instead." This way she let you down instead of you appearing to over-react.

"Thanks for calling me, i've been sitting around chilling to hear from you like you told me you we're going to call now you're going out so have fun!"
This type of response is a form of passive aggression. Passive aggression can be seen as a weakness because it can convey the message that you don't know how to deal with your feelings.

Very good explanation. omgwtfm8 should really try and understand this.

I'd like to add something else. What the girl did is nothing worthy of getting angry over. There are far more serious and malicious acts that are far more worthy of anger. However, come to think of it, it probably only applies when you get married due to commitment and responsibility. With just a girlfriend, if you get angry with her, tell her to get lost cause you want someone better. Cause if she ain't that good to you, and you can do better, then do so. If you can't do any better than her, then accept it and live with it.

If you say you're disappointed with her, then it's a different matter. Disappointment means you would like to see her be better than that. So you highlight the issue and discuss it for the benefit of both of you. You're not angry because you understand that she is capable of doing such things and she is free to do such things. You just would like it if she could maybe understand that it isn't something nice for her to be doing. Once again, if she keeps doing it, don't get angry, just dump her. Why would you think anger solves anything?

Listen up people, this is a text book example of AFC behavior.

Sitting around all day waiting for a chick to call and then get pissed off because she doesn't AND then telling her that - is pathetic beyond belief.

How old are you? 16? Young chicks (and older ones as well) are flakey as hell if you've not trained them properly (but they still can be flakey). Therefore NEVER EVER dance after a chicks flute.

What you should have done instead off getting all sissy pissy was to hang out with your crew and not sit around for some b!tch to call you. And you should certainly not have texted her as you did.

Read up on the DJ Bible and do a search for posts by (.)(.). He'll get you in the right mindset.

This has happened to me a couple of times in the past.. and what I've done is similar to what Centaurion suggested.
When it gets to the stage like 30mins or a bit more and she hasn't called you, then I call up a mate and go and do something.. anything.
What usually happens later is that they end up calling or messaging later in the day, and then are surprised that you're out doing something else. Shows you don't need her.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Good point. She thinks you're dependent on her decisions (which seems to be the case). How about going out and not giving a flying fvck what she's doing? Try that.

b)do u do have sex alot? cuz if u do, then u gotta make sure she cant ****in walk the next day, that'll make her wanna come over and see u instead of the goddamn mall, TRUST ME ;)
Another damn good point. Give her reason to want to spend time with you. Being a needy b!tch will not fvcking do it. guaranteed.

You should have pretended you didn't give a flying ****.

You then should have stood her up a few times and when she got mad, appologise and then just say that you where having fun with your buddies and you forgot, then say:

"I don't see what the big deal is anyway, I didn't give you crap when you stood me up - It's not like we want to be in each other's pockets anyway".

Chances are she wants you to be in her's but not her in yours. This will tell her that isn't happening. She will take the lead to what she wants after that. She will either want both of you in each others pockets or for the relationship to end. Either way your better off than being her *****.

I think that's the problem with alot of guys - they don't want to do the right thing because they know it has the risk of ending the relationship.
