"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I was on a date tonight with a girl I've seen for a few months now. I haven't seen her for a little over a week cause of holidays and increased work so I figured tonight would be a good time to keep things current between us. Anyway as it is, I'm not feeling that well today and it definately showed when I left my house this evening to meet her at the restarunt. When we got there she was all lovey over me and hugging me and I returned similar affections, she's a nice girl afterall and fun to be with. She actually kinda got my spirtis up a bit.

We had a great meal, caught up on holiday times, laughed and all that stuff associated with a good date. She kept on bringing up how she wanted to come back to my place and touching me and what not but I fended her off and kept telling her I was sick and needed to get some well deserved rest before tomorrow. It happened a few times but I was pretty determined to get a good nights rest after I took some nyquil. After a while she finaly agreed and after the meal we parted ways.

I called her when I got home to say goodnight and she asks me "Hey, do you think if you lose intrest in me, we can still be friends? Because I like being with you." I obviously said ofcourse and said goodnight i'm gonna drug myself now.

I thought it was a pretty odd thing for her to say. Not once did I mention wanting to break up with her, and I did my best to keep myself together anc come out when I was ill. Do you think she senses some impending doom in our relationship or do you think she's reading the signs wrong? Part of me things it was actually an attempt to warm me up for the friends zone but I'm not sure at this point. Anyway lets hear opnions from the board.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

You are ok kid - she was just dumbfounded by a man's refusing a
woman's offer to go to her place!!

She must be thinking, this dude must have higher priorities than sex!! So she feel less than desirable by your indirect rejection of her and so she is wondering if you are still attracted to her!

As LMS said your cool actually more then cool.

She is probably also thinking he values my time, even though it did not equal sex, a very postive state to be in expeccially if you dig this girl alot.

It says you want to spend time with her just to spend time with her as you like her company, this is very powerful to a women as they dont always want sex, they love the fact there not some form of meat on a platter.

You proved she wasn't and sent a powerful message, she is confused since she has very high interest in you.

So in that you are not ok your better then ok and it seems you are onto a winner with this one, nice work man it reads very well, especcially when she was concerned about something trivial, shows a high lvl of attraction and she does not want to loose her connection with you.

Hmmm, I guess I didn't really think about it from that angle. I've slept with this girl several times now but last night i was in bad shape, otherwise I would have taken her up on her offer. She's actually a pretty good find before that, independant, generouse (she paid for that meal), very sociable, and attractive. I like her but I'm juggling as well. No suprise there, cause I'm young but I think she's a onto that because she's smart. I'm not sure how much she likes me but she always mentions "your other girlfriends" in joking manner but sometimes I wonder, cause it doesn't come out like a joke sometimes, more so as fishing. We never established any grounds of monogomy but she might be fighting for that status with me. I hope she doesn't change if I decide to go that route.
