Ahh….Where to start?

I’m here to tell you all my journey of becoming a man, what I’ve learned, and how I applied it.

First off, when I was a little kid, I was super quiet. I had maybe 2 friends who I would go and play video games. I’m talking like 6th grade here. I outgrew those friends after that and became one of the more popular kids, mainly because I’m athletic-not social. I had no girls throughout elementary school, and dammit I missed so many chances!

I found this site at the end of 8th grade but I forgot about it by the summer. I read some articles, but applied NOTHING. I still had no girls, and missed even more opportunities. High school came, and it hit me hard. I went to a different high school than the rest of my friends. I was no longer a “cool kid”. I was still really shy and quiet. I started to become friends with the guys, but girls? Every time a girl spoke to me I would blush. It was retarded; I had to leave them every time. I didn’t join any teams or clubs in the school, and I hated it. I seriously started thinking, “what the hell is the point of my life?”(Suicidal thoughts). My grades dropped, and I was just pissed off about life and I never got along with my parents.

That’s when I re-found this site. My life had hit rock bottom, and the articles on this site started to become addicting. I would come home every night and just read. I started applying some of the things little by little. In the beginning, approaching girls was out of the question entirely, and I can feel for the beginners. I did boot camp, and I made it to the second week but then I failed it. I was still pretty quiet but I was improving. My grades were still down though and I decided I would switch to my friends schools after the summer. I found out that my nickname there was "the hot gay guy" They actually thought I was Gay!

The end of the summer- that’s when I got serious. I was going to improve my life like crazy, and I had the motivation. I read the whole DJ bible. I learned some important things like, “in order to create attraction you must take action”. I wrote down that quote and pasted it on my wall. I lived by it. I traveled the entire summer, I made my own sort of boot camp, and I met many people the entire summer. Hooked up for the first time. Got really passionate about surfing. Now my life was 100x better than a year ago but there was still a lot to go.

I got to the new high school determined to make a fresh start. A clean slate, so to speak. I spoke to everyone, all the girls, the teachers, the jocks, the geeks- EVERYONE. I cannot stress this enough in school, just be friends with everyone. It can start with s simple “hi” or “How’d you do on finals”. Talks to the teachers- don’t just be another face in their class. Take a minute after class to talk to the teacher, and it can mean 5 points on your report card right there. By talking to all of the different groups, you get different hook ups and you get invited to parties and such.

Back to the story- I went through different stages of self-improvement. First I did a test of will (no masturbation, TV, etc…) after a few weeks of that I stepped back and realized “what the hell am I doing? I’m just making my life miserable and not getting anywhere.” On to my next stage- I started making a goal list and checking everything off after I did it. Every day in school, I would write it down on a paper- I would put things with time next to it. For example, I would jot down how many people I approached that week, and the details. I was getting somewhere in the social aspect of my life, but I still wasn’t so happy. My next stage was to schedule every night with goals and then check off what I did. This was good as an initial stage until it came naturally. For example, I would right down like run on treadmill- 30 minutes, Study- 30 minutes, Read- 30 minutes, work out, etc. The last stage is when all of this stuff started coming naturally. I took a look at my first test of will stage and said I’m now going to get to this stage simply by BEING BUSY and GOING OUT.

This is huge. Always be doing something. Don’t sit on your azz. What are you doing on computer? Its freaking spring. You know what I did today? I biked 40 miles, then I played soccer, then I played basketball with my friends. I didn’t have time to play xbox or watch TV. I work out now 3 times a week. I get together games of any sport I want, this is where knowing people comes in. Last week, I took out a paper, and went around my school asking people if they wanted to play ultimate Frisbee on a Friday. We got together a great game, and its now going to be a weekly thing. You have to value your time. If you don’t value your time, why would anyone? Why would a girl?.

For anyone who doesn’t think their good looking: here’s something- Lets say you know this girl who isn’t super hot, and she just sits on her azz all day and watches TV. Would you ever want to date this girl? I know I wouldn’t. Now, lets say this chick is always going out, playing, partying, and having fun. I think she would definitely have a better chance of getting with me. The same goes for guys. If you’re not that good looking but you always go out and have fun, you can expect to pull in hot chicks.

On confidence and how I gained mine

There are many different ways of how to gain your own confidence, and each person is unique. But here’s mine- I started saying hi to people and talking to people. Just random people. Each one gave me a huge confidence boost. Then I got the confidence to talk to girls. Over time, it amounted to the courage to ask their numbers, then dates, etc…
Going out and doing things also gave me confidence. I’m able to step back and think about how awesome my life is and how much fun I have. I’m definitely happy without the girls, but their just naturally attracted top my actions. I lile to look at the way i got girls the same as how i overcame my fear of dogs. First i started going near small dogs, then dogs where there were fences, then medium dogs, until i could just walk up to any huge dog with no problems.

Another thing- Get hobbies, get unique. My hobbies and passions all led to my happiness and success. It doesn’t have to be one passion. I became passionate about guitar, surfing, music, and biking. Even if you’re not talented at it. If you like it, you can be good at it. It just takes time. I got my identity through these things, I’m known as either “the surfer”, “the biker”, or “the music fan”. My styles are based on these passions, EX- I dress like a surfer, I have long hair, etc.

I went from a 70 average to a 90. a zero to a hero. I know you can do it. You’ve taken the first step, now take the rest.

Now get off the computer and go out. Right now.

I’ll follow this up with some killers in the tips section- keep your eyes open.

Damn, I didn’t realize how long this would be. I gota go get some rest ( Hot date tomorrow!)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I sorta have a similar problem...

Well not really, but here goes... The thing is that I never do go out with girls from my school. I don't know why, but it seems like none want to hang out with me. I'm an attractive guy (8.5 atleast) but i can't figure out why they never want to hang out or anything.

Lastly... nice turn around in your life. Glad that you feel better about yourself, because in the end... its all what you do for yourself. :p
