"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

There's this annoying british guy that always tries to put the moves on my G/F and it's starting to get to me. Last night we were at a bar and I was chilling with my friends for most of the night. At the end of the night she was telling me that she kept brushing him off and he kept offering to buy her drinks. I've known this guy and he's an acquantince but not a friend. Anyway how do I go about this situation for next time? I wanna beat this guys ass but I know I can't let my emotions overtake me. I thinking next time he tries this bullshyt I'm going to tell him what's up with me and her so he takes a hint.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

If it's Dr. Beard, you are in big trouble. Don't let your girlfriend go to any funerals and most importantly, beware of pigeons.

As an Englishman myself, I will give you my reflections.

Most englishmen realise that their accents give them the edge over any homegrown American in the States. Plain fact by the way. I even look forward to exploiting this fact when I hit american soil.

We are also rather sensitive to the fact you chaps lent us a hand (twice) around 40 years back. Just prey he doesn't have a BA in history is you decide to use this rather low blow. Something along the lines of 'Hey you wouldn't have that cute little accent if we'd kicked Hitler's ass for you' should do the job.

Otherwise we are more rational then you lot. (Generally, no offence meant). If that chap had two cent of wit about him he'd back off if you took him to the corner and firmly (But KINDLY) explained that you do not approve of his attitude and actions. In fact have your GF tell him that she does want him harassing her, that should make his 'cojones' shrink a little, and generally make his presence 'light'.
A stern warning should have him wetting himself. If he refuses to listen then use the low shot. Following this if he persists, physically remove him from your presence. If he continues just have your bird yell at him.

Hmm. Is his name Dr. Beard by chance?
ha ha ha that is top shelf.....

Back to the OP. Don't do anything unless he disrespects her or you. If he does something stupid (touches her, pisses her off, insults her, insults you), bust his ass in face. If he doesn't, let him buy her all the drinks he wants. I can play that game, I'm on a tight budget...

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Yeah, British guys can say anything in that accent and make it sound cool.

Would an American male have the same advantage in England?

Afraid not, lol quite the opposite :) Well actually im not sure for the men, but i have a big dislike for american female accents. One advantage our accent seems to be undeniably usefull in any english speaking country.
Dont ask me why thought.

Damn right! As long as she's brushing him off you don't need to worry and if she's not brushing him off, it's her you need to worry about.

As speed dawg said there's no need to lose your temper unless he crosses the line. If he's continuing to annoy you, be calm, put your hand on his shoulder and say "Hey mate, I can't blame you for trying to chat up my girlfriend. She's an attractive girl, but she doesn't like the attention so would you mind knocking it off." Then you could follow up by offering to set him up with another girl or something.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

English accents might be popular with American women but American accents are just as popular with English girls. People like anything rare I suppose.

No he's not stalking her to my knowledge but he makes an effort to chat her up all the time in a flirty way. We aren’t enemies but we have an unspoken dislike for each other and I’ve known this guy for maybe 4 years. He also talks to her online and I just don’t want this to get out of hand.

When he was flirting with her at the end of the night she did mention to him that she had been seeing me for a few months now. At the end of the night he approached me and said “Oh so you’ve been with her for a few months? She’s a good girl.”

He knows that it’s getting under my skin and I think he’s waiting for me to crack and make a fool of myself but it’s not happening. She knows I dislike him and even said she would stop talking to him if I wanted. I told her that she is allowed to talk to whoever she wants but I felt that he was disrespecting me by flirting with her and offering to buy her drinks. Last night I almost lost my cool but stayed on top of my emotions. My G/f's problem is that she can't be mean to anybody and I talked to her about being more assertive.

After she felt like talking to him for a large portion of the night I went and did my own thing with my friends at the bar. At the end of the night she said she would call me when she left. She called me that night on the verge of tears and said "I'm sorry I don't know what I'm sorry about but I'm sorry." ********?? I felt she disrespected me by continuing to talk to this guy who she knew I didn't get along with.

Sounds like a tough situation, because you want to say something to this guy for "disrespecting" you but on the other hand you don't want to look like an AFC by making a big deal out of it.

To me your girlfriend sounds like she's fully aware of what's going on, so I wouldn't worry about her.

The only real issue here is whether you can deal with this guy hitting on your girlfriend. If you're one of those upper-level alpha's, you wouldn't be concerned about this whole thing because a) you don't care if some English doof disrepects you and b) a girl is a girl, and if she's dumb or nonchalant enough to get mixed up with someone else, she doesn't deserve you.

I'd be pissed off too. I'd probably pull some AFC move like complaining to her, telling her to tell him to F-off.

I've been in this situation before. I don't know what being british has to do with anything, but....

You can keep them separated, by not going out to the same bars as him or....

Have a word with him and say, in a polite friendly manner, "look, she's with me, I would appreciate it if you left her alone" ....

If he's still not leaving her alone and you get a negative resonse then let him know that you will kick his ass if he doesn't.....

If he still persists......you gotta kick ass!

Out of topic, anyway it always surprises me that people born/raised in English-talking countries ALWAYS think that the British accent is the best one. Here in Italy, British accent is pretty uncool and everyone would rather have a Californian or Michiganian one (due to celebs coming from these place), maybe even Ebonic!

Very good!

Anyway, English accents in America are a huge advantage when picking up women. I found this out during my last trip to NY where I literally picked up this chick and kiss-closed her right from under her date's nose.

My guess to you my friend is to just confront him about it but in a jokingly way... So next time you see him making the moves and trying it (even if your girl isnt interested) just say...

You: hey man, :) you hitting on my girl????

He won't say yes but he will understand that you have noticed it and highlighted the fact that he is doing something wrong.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
