"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

After reading the Buddhist bible i found something called the 8 foldpath. I'm going to teach my fellow DJs 6 of them. Buddhist usually use these laws to achieve enlightenment I want you to use them to achieve DJness

Samadhi - is developing mastery over one’s own mind

Right Effort - One must make an effort to always improve = You must always improve yourself and not doing so is a sin.

Right Mindfulness - Mental ability to see things for what they are clearly= You must always see things for what they are instead of what they appear to be this i find works on HBs cause they seem totally hot and acts all snotty, but she could be diffrent on the inside.

Right Concentration - Being aware of the present reality within oneself, without any negative emotions=This one speaks for itself. It's like the improvement post where you write down your bad traits and get rid of them, but you must do it without emotion.

Panna - is the wisdom which purifies the mind

Right Thoughts - Change in the pattern of thinking=Change the way you think till you achieve what you are seeking

Right Understanding - Understanding reality as it is, not just as it appears to be= Kinda like Right Mindfulness.

I really hope this helps you all. Rint over and out

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

A 15 yr old reading into Buddhism? and practicing? quite impressive. I'm not sure if this is everyones cup of tea. This advice seems a little deep, even for me. But good try :).

Lol, great effort there rint. I started reading buddhism when I was 16, so I don't really think its weird at all!

The thing is, it seems kinda...blesphemous to use the buddhist eightfold path for something like DJ-ing. Not because of religion, or holiness or respect for the buddha or anything (I'm not actually buddhist myself), but I would compare it to using a tank to kill a bunny. You can achieve so MUCH MORE with the original buddhist eightfold path.

Better quality of life, emotional mastery/control, all the DJ skills you'll ever need, happiness in general, etc.

I don't think people will really understand/appreciate the eightfold path after reading your post...maybe you should go more in depth into it, even if just applying it to DJ-ism.

G'luck! And its nice to know that people are actively studying and using buddhist "techniques" for everyday life.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Rint,
The 8-fold path can be used to release the emotional attachment for desire of reaching enlightenment. Since enlightenment is not a state of being but a WAY of being, one cannot simply reach it, they must BE it. The same goes with BEing a DJ.

Rint,

You keep that up.

You're doing yourself an incredible favor. Not everyone here will appreciate the deepness, and that's just because many people aren't searching for true meaning and peace of mind.

Keep on doing your thing.

A few books you might enjoy.

"Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance"

"On the road"

"Crazy Wisdom"

"Big Sur"

"The Dharma Bums"

That stuff is all touched by buddhism and zen ideologies

And I will swear by this:

If you keep searching for meaning, and studying religion, culture, and metaphysical type stuff, you will find inner peace, strength, and motivation.

And so much more...

You will become a real man.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
