The 10 post in 24 hour rule

In all honesty it gets annoying after a while. I know to much info/bandwith can slow the board down but can we at least bump it up to 20 posts in 24 hours?

Im sure a lot of people here will agree with me on this one.


You get into a good convo with someone, then all of a sudden you hit your 10 posts, then you cant post for another day. You got to edit your other posts just to respond to someone elses..It does get very annoying.

That is true. But when you get into a good discussion you cant disagree with me here it does get a bit annoying bro. Esp when your answering/asking a question.

LOL 3 years later and no change.

At least someone agrees with me.

20 posts per day would be perfect. Eliminate spam at the same time still have time to complete a convo

It's fine. If you have something important to say, it shouldn't take long. Plus it curbs any associate posting. The net is a big enough place with lots of people. Find some and spend your time there.

Can it be raised based on poster seniority? I don't see why somebody that's been here for 4 or 5 years should be getting hit with this rule.

I can understand it for new users but not for older posters.

I agree with this, except it should be based on reputation.

The last thing I want is a bunch of noobs polluting the forum with excess posts, or someone who has been here for 5 years (but with low reputation because they are still losers) doing same.

But if we could increase the posts allowed for those who have demonstrated quality, I think it would be a good thing.

Examples of posters like this include but are not limited to:

f283000, Nismo 4, Rollo Tomassi, Jophil, Razor Sharp etc etc and the list goes on

Sosuave is AFC man. I'd prefer mods busting my ass if I post too much. I should be out there pumping iron, doing boot camp. I highly doubt 10 post limit has anything to do with bandwidth or spam.
