i've been reading these boards, listening to tapes, EVERYTHING to understand myself. I've been here since the summer of my FRESHMAN here (almost 2 years). I saw ALMOST EVERYONE CHANGE from "depressed" or any other excuse into a ****ING PUA (i still have no clue what that means). NOW IT'S MY TURN. I've learned too much, READ TOO MANY ARTICLES, AND GOT NOWHERE!! S*REW FEAR! S*REW MISTAKES! S*REW FAILURE! I'M GETTING NOWHERE JUST READING ON EVERY STEP. I WANT TO BECOME MORE!!

Bro who cares what you say.

You should be trying to gain confidence - forget what you need to say.

Take it in strides. For the first week try say 'Hello' to every girl that walks past.

Next week 'Hey, how's it going' and just keep going.

Then the third week ...actually stop them. It won't be so daunting.

homedog893 its good that you feel ready to do it. Let me just tell you somthing, you will go and do it, and you will fail, the second time you will also fail and also the third. You can not just go read up and then have the game under your belt from day 1.

But you have the advantage of knowing in your head what you need to do, and each time you will get better, and very soon after, you will succeed, so good luck to you!

Void- I've been on this board for 2 years and yea, I didn't really contribute to the boards

check_mate_kid. man, you were totally right. I failed so miserably. The only sarging I did was at Potbelly's. This HB6 was putting all the lettuce, tomatos, etc. into sandwiches. She kept eyeing me while making the sandwiches and so I walked over to her and literally said the first thing on my mind:


me: Hey do you know Dave's schedule? I know he works here
HB6: Yea lemme check

eventually, it ended up with her asking me all the fluff questions: where I go to school, what i do etc. Don't quite remember how. That was a cool experience. Worst pickup line ever, but hey! I got somewhere

Let me tell you, it's just a baby step and I'm not satisfied at all cuz I still feel that hit where that doubt comes up with a million reasons why you shouldn't but I made this thread and promised myself and everyone here that I was gonna get rid of this fear and I don't plan on giving up until I see this FEAR only in my past, my memories. I'll keep you guys updated~ sorry for setting my hopes up too high and not getting as far as I wanted.
