"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

When I came to SoSuave in 2009 I was fairly incapable when it came to terms of how to be around girls. I was shy, couldn't really handle myself socially and was really lonely. I had been studying the DJ Bible for a while and did some bootcamping. The vast amounts of resources, help and support from SoSuave quickly helped me master my skills.

Thanks to the community on these boards I managed to get a grip on myself. I've banged a load of broads, spun plates, made out with five different girls on one night and had the craziest sex. I grew majorly over time, learned to pitch myself to others when it came to business.

But now it's time for me to move on and leave the playing field for others. Don't get me wrong, I'll be out there hitting up the ladies whenever I get the chance but I've also found activities that provide me with more fulfillment than chasing girls and spinning plates. I've had a blast and I am absolutely positive that it was a life changing experience that I seriously needed.

One of the reasons I came to SoSuave was that I lacked social skills. I was bullied a lot as a kid and that left some serious scars and trust issues. You guys provided me with the tools to deal with the immediate hurt coming those experiences. However, as much as I'd like to, banging tons of broads will not heal the wounds from those experiences. Over the past year I've been working on fixing those deeper underlying things with the use of psychedelics such as mushrooms and dimethyltryptamine (DMT). While I'm aware that the use of such substances is frowned upon here on SoSuave they help me gain insights into who am I and how the world affects.

They helped me understand my fears and why I responded in certain ways to negative thoughts and situations.

Thank you for a great time SoSuave! I'll be keeping an eye on this thread until it falls of the front page.

Blessings,
Sand Hawk

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Good for you, SandHawk. Glad to see a success story, and don't stop considering yourself a success. You can learn a lot here, but I'm not sure that sticking around here too long and keeping yourself in this mindset is necessarily healthy. The key is to be out there living life, which is what is sounds like you will be doing.

Thanks :). And yes, it's all about experiencing life to the fullest. Currently that's all a bit in the low down because I needed to focus on fixing my life. The end is in sight so it's now just a matter of the last four weeks to finish up. Then the money will start flowing in!

And while I agree that there is a lot to learn here, there is also a lot of misinformation and single mindedness here. And that attitude quickly brushes off on newcomers where the DJ quickly assumes he figured out how others think.

The skills that can be learned here are incredible. The attitude it teaches is perfect for quickly spinning multiple plates and selecting partners that pose the least amount of hassle. But like everything in life this phase should only be temporary. We should hone our skills in an environment with little risk and girls are perfect for that. But after we've honed our skills we should move on. Use these skills to provide a rich life for ourselves and experience the world.

One should not stay too long in this phase, or they will become uninteresting. How long that is is different per person. But hey, that's just my view on things.
