Texting.....how to speed it up?

Hi,

I have been texting a girl back and forth for the past 4 days. Very slowly, usually 2 texts a day.

She sends a message. I usually wait 4-6 hours (usually when I'm free later), and then reply, and then she takes her time and does the same.

It is annoying because it is painfully obvious that she is taking her time to reply on purpose, and it just makes everything so slow!

How can I speed it up without seeming too keen? For example, I texted her last night at 10.45pm and she replied at 11am today.

Does that mean I gotta wait almost 12 hours because I reply back to her? All the gurus say you should NEVER text a girl faster than she texts you.

But at this rate nothing will take off the ground! :crazy:

What are you texting her? Texting her should only be to arrange dates in person. Nothing else. For example, send her a text Friday asking what she's doing later that night/weekend, so if she wants to see you she will have to reply promptly.

If she continues to play these stupid games of waiting x amount of time to text you back, next her.

I had a chick who did the same thing. Eventually it got worse and worse. For example texting me back 15 hours later saying she "fell asleep" the previous night when we were going to make plans. And then the same sh!t a day later when she tried to reschedule. So I went ghost and haven't contacted her since. And she's sent me like 4 messages since then. Each time I read them and deleted her number right after. I don't have time for that BS.

why are you texting a girl that late at night before bed expecting a quick reply? maybe she's already sleeping.

forget about what gurus tell you, if she is texting you just text her when you want, if she is super slow or sends one word texts then next her.

I don't mind texting when its instant like on whatsapp, when its short/sharp messages much like a conversation, just be sure to be the one to draw a close to it.

But steer well away from the lengthy messages with hours inbetween that are more like emails. Those never end well and are largely boring unfun unnecessary conversations. When a girl won't engage in instant back and forth conversations I just ask her out ASAP, **** the two messages a day back and forth that will do nothing for her attraction levels.

Anyway by the sounds of things both of you are wasting your time at the moment and that means nobody wins

With a chick like this you just gotta bite the bullet , give her a date and a time and see if she accepts

wtf is wrong with this texting threads everywhere. people are forgetting the real Cause of texting or phone in general and are lost in the Effects .

If you're scared of replying sooner than her it means you actually care what she thinks. Who gives a fvck. You're clearly wasting both your time right now, so put all your chips on the table and ask her on a date with little notice. If she declines then you saved yourself a lot more wasted time.
