Texting a chick you havnt talked to in a while

So i need to get a girl to bring with me on this trip im taking 4th of july weekend. Its pretty close.

This chick and me used to mess around hooked up a few times, texted for a few months but i think she was looking for a boyfriend and so i kept my distance. Well, she ended up asking me to come to the bar one night to see her and i did, then her friends bf was there and he brought his friend, so it was us 5. I left because i know what her friend was trying to do, and i didnt care, but ever since that day she hasnt hmu.

So im thinking she either lost complete interest or just gave up on me because shes now banging this other guy or one of his friends.

I dont really care who shes banging, but i need a for sure hookup for this trip and shes hot so i was thinking about texting her "hey you still alive?" to see if i get a response.

What are your thoughts? Any good openers? Im drunk right now so hopefully quick replies cause id like to even bag this tnite possibly.

first off, dont do it drunk. you'll think you're smooth, but it probably wont come off that way.

If you've already hooked up, especially a few times, then you're usually correct in assuming theres attraction between you. Especially is you just played it cool and lost touch with her, thats much better than if you had pestered her and bugged her and she had lost interest.

I'd say text her (tomorrow). shed prob be happy you did, thinking "man i wonder what happened to that guy" and im sure she'd be down.

Your line isnt bad. Since youve already hooked up, you don't need to do a ton of work, just don't be needy obviously and you're good

Doesn't hurt to throw out a text. Takes a few seconds, minimal investment. But never drunk text. If she responds the alcohol might text back something stupid. Keep it short and on topic: getting her out. No long conversations.
