Is it okay to ask a girl out to an event via text if you missed them at school, or is it best to wait to see them in person? An event came up for tomorrow, which I'll go to anyway, and I am trying to figure out if I should be last minutish and ask in person tomorrow or plan a bit and ask via text tonight.

I'd say plan ahead over text, though I've gotten 200% more feedback in person, where you can portray yourself better. If you can't do it in person, do it over a call instead of a text for the same effect.
