"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I met my woman just yesterday. We had a good time. Recent drama was dealt with and we both felt like we are back on track again. However, during the date she tells me not to contact her for a few weeks/a week as she is ultra busy with college work and that when we talk, she cant concentrate. I tell her thats kool and that even if she texts i wont respond until the end of the week.

I knew she wont be able to resist and today I get her text in the morning wishing me well but in the end she tells me that I can reply to her text as she isnt busy atm lol.

Should i?I mean we agreed I wouldn't.

I plan not to but i wanted your in put.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

In my opinion when she told you that she was busy and that she can't concentrate and that she does not want you to text her, I would have walked away right then.

I would have politely said, "You seem to have a lot on your plate. Let me know a specific day and time when you want to get together and I'll let you know if I can make it. I'm going to get going now."

At this point I would not even bother texting her.

Do not let them set the rules early on in the frame. You are the one who makes the rules, times and arrangements.

You lead, she follows. Not the other way around.

The moment she says that she's too busy or that she has to get going, you've already lost the frame.

You always be the one who says I have to get going or I'm too busy right now.
She said this as I was leaving. We had a great time but she said we shouldnt talk until we meet next. I said it wont work like that and that we should rather not talk the whole week and then set a phone date for a saturday/sunday. She was okay with that. She then said that she wont be able to resist and will contact me but said do not get back to me as she always sits around waiting for my reply. I agreed.

PS.She is 3 hours away so we meet up once a month/3 weeks.

She isn't to busy for someone she is interested in. Long distance never works. I just got out of one. Find a local girl eject before she does.

I dunno. She seemed very interested throughout the date. Hugging kissing and holding hands. Ive been a huge jerk towards her and we solved that issue. In the end she told me to stay and sleep over and was teary eyed.

She called when i left and texted in the night. Then texted again in the morning.

I have had gut feelings though. When I went to see her we discussed issues. I have been swearing ahouting and accusing her. She cried and I told her that Im going to try to change etc. She then tells me that maybe I should fix myself first and then resume the relationship. I told her that I cant do that and that if she wants to tag along then thats cool if not then we are done. She said thats not what she meant. I then found a text message she sent to a college dude who shes in a project with. In the text she tells him we broke up (we did 2 weeks back because i ignored her and then told her f off .) I called her out on it. She tells me she tells him about us and our issues as he is the same origin as me and understand me lol. There werent many conversations with the dude but that stood out.

Althoug she said dont text or message, she still did herself this morningand in it she tells me i can text back.I will not though. Im planning on actually going on NC for a few weeks. I want to get over this. Too much stress. If she begs etc then ill know, if not then it speaks for itself.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Too far away... dustmuffin is right, you are wasting your time, fine a local girl. She is only going to use you for attention. LDR's NEVER, NEVER work. Don't get into them and don;t start them. They are expensive and sooner or later she'll meet another penis that she can actually touch and you will be broken hearted history.

I'm not trying to flame/disrespect you, but in my opinion you seem to be justifying her attitude of indifference toward you. I'm convinced that ALL advice given to you will be challenged/unheeded...because you won't accept that you're allowing yourself to be controlled.

Oneitis lurking its ugly head subtly and silently...I'm still personally guilty of letting this happen at times...
I hear you. I just got missed calls and constant messages from her saying why im not picking up and that i should call her later. Im thinking has she forgotten what she agreed on already?lol

I dunno, this just sounds like BS. She needs to get better at multitasking and no one is busy all the time.

But I did have a girl that would not respond almost all day but I did see her online so I knew she got the msgs she said she just doesn't read them until later because I think some people feel like a text message is going to be a real time convo if they respond and they need to set aside time. Yet I see girls texting all the time while driving.

Why are you trying to get a cream pie from a store 3 hours downtown, that only rarely stocks it like once a month/3 weeks, when there's countless stores nearby with more pie? I don't get it. You go to a local store down the block, you get the same pie anytime you want. More pie, less hassle. Do you not like pie or something?
