I heard it mentioned...what it the basis behind it? I want to see some examples or articles. I feel like I am doing it wrong, thanks
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Only use it to get in contact for important things or to set up dates. The least you text the better.
I'm very proficient at text game, and I can tell ya that Eph pretty much summed it up. That's really it. I guess a couple things to add would be...Eph said:Text as least as possible Bad texting kills relationships, and lets face it: there are more people that are bad at texting than there are good at it.

Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
I've had a different experience, so maybe you'd like to go a little more in depth: She answered the call immediately, even though I (now) know she really wasn't interested in the slightest. Granted we had been texting right before I (accidentally; back in those days I would have been much too nervous to call her) called her, so how does calling weed out low interest? I've had my moments of awesomeness with this ex-plate, but looking back she was never interested.Uncharted said:Agree with all of the above. Only use texting to set up dates. Don't have long conversations.
Although I've reverted to using the phone and actually CALLING women. It helps weed out low interest. If she's at least somewhat interested she will answer the phone or call back. If not, I delete her number and move on.
I can't speak to whether or not your eBooks and podcasts are any good, I'm sure they are, but it'd be nice if all of your replies weren't advertisements - which has been the case lately.Harry Wilmington said:I have a whole eBook dedicated to this particular subject - and it's FREE! You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.
I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.
Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.
These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.
Why the name change, noodles?Petra said:This is all good advice. I used to send my ex "walls of text" and sometimes multiple texts before he would even answer the first. I basically said whatever came to my mind. Now I just keep texts to a minimum and the shorter the better. Calling is the way to go.
Huh? I'm still Noodles! I'd never use a name like Petra ew.TheCWord said:Why the name change, noodles?

RESPONSE TIMES
Make sure it doesn't appear as if you are hanging by the phone, waiting for her text. It's best if you're actually busy, then you don't have to fake it. But if you don't have a lot going on at the moment, vary your response times: sometimes respond in ten minutes, other times take three hours. If I text a girl and she responds within a half hour or so, I'll text her back whenever I feel like... However, if she takes three hours, I'll take three to five hours to write back. After I do that, they'll usually respond within ten minutes
MESSAGE LENGTH
I generally try to keep my messages the same length as hers or shorter. Quite often I'll get a wall of text from a girl and I'll respond with a one or two-line message about making plans. Gabbing and rambling are feminine traits, we're men. If she's always sending walls of text I can't always send such short replies because it will come off as rude, so if I'm writing a longer text I'll just make sure it's never much longer than hers. It's okay to show equal text interest at times but it's never okay to write more than the girl.
No need to read any more articles on it. The rest is self-regulation. You are probably accustomed to endless fluff talk over text so if she tries to pull you in to those old behaviors, don't take the bait.
Here's how a text convo might look like for me these days.
ME INITIATING
Me: Hey, how was your weekend? Can't believe how crazy hot it is for September. Let's grab a drink later this week. What nights works for you?
Her: Hey! Weekend was great. I did blah blah blah. I can do Thursday or Friday
Me: Cool. Come by Friday at 8.
Her: See you then!
(Then I'll text her something the day of, like: "Hey can you pick up a bottle of red on your way over?")
HER INITIATING
Her: OMG! Did you see that episode of TV? I basically cried the entire time!
Me: It was crazy. Let's hang out later this week. What nights are you free?
Her: Thursday or Friday.
Me: Come by Friday at 8.
Her: Will do
COUPLE NOTES:
-Notice how I didn't engage in conversation about that TV show? Because that will give us something to talk about on the date.
-After a couple dates or whenever I know I have the hooks in this girl, I no longer ask "What nights work for you?" I just tell them, "Come over Friday at 8." If they're busy they'll counter-offer another night.
Um, it was a made up conversation to show how my side of the conversation would go.instantnoodles said:Proficient??
Maybe you were in the beginning. After that, she realized your tricks. Notice how her responses are brief towards the end?
Something I would do
I never let ANYONE -repeat- ANYONE sh1t me! IDGF who you are!
Up your Text Game, my Son!![]()

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

You really need to start making sense.
