"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I'm sure you've all seen the American Pie 1. In it, four friends swear upon each other to get laid before the end of their senior year.

Four of us here in Houston, including me, formed a similar covenant. Before we step into our respective dorm rooms for the fall college term, we must each get pvssy.

This was tonight, and it poses a dillema. I get on the plane on Sept. 2, exactly 23 days from now. That gives me just over 3 weeks to get some. It would mean going further than I've ever gone before, but I'm ready for the challenge.

This thread will chronicle the great challenge that is Texan Pie. And as we know, all movies have a happy ending. The sarging starts today.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Hey, I'm in Houston too. Where you guys going to college? I'm at UofH.

As for the topic, I'd say you should watch out. Making an ultimatum on yourself like this can be self-destructive. The closer the deadline gets, the more desperate you'll be to get laid, and that's just putting the pu$$y on a pedestal. Then you add the embarassment you'll face if you fail, and your friends succeeded. Imagine being the only guy left in the group that's still a virgin. Yea, its really shallow, but you WILL kinda be on a different level then your friends.

All of that is just unneeded pressure on you, and your game will just get worse as it adds up. Remember in the movie, how Jim just said screw it, and asked out the band geek? He settled for that. That's bad. And yes, he may have gotten laid in time for the deadline, but think about it. He was used! He didn't even remember what happened! How much would it suck to not even remember your first time?

Now its not all bad. I mean, this whole thing CAN be motivating, if you and your friends support each other, instead of compete. That's about the only plus I can think of right now though, so as it goes, its a bad idea.

Oh well, too late now bro. Looks like you need to take this seriously. Good luck! You're gonna need it.

I'm going to Princeton, one of my friends is goes to UTA, one is going to A&M, and the last goes to UH too. You probabyl know him in real life, which is ironic XD

We're encouraging each other so far. It's a fun challenge, and to be honest, we all have game to some extent (in fact, the A&M guy has some azn chick calling him for d1ck all the time), but everyone has a slump in the summer. This is just a way to revive it.

FR: Checkmate, perhaps?

So, in keeping with our American Pie pact, I went to Starbucks today with 2 of the 3 friends I made the deal with. We brought a chess board, and I was playing one of my friends while sipping on some free water (cheapskate here).

Anyway, behind me is this white chick, HB 6-7, but with a twist you'll see. The guy I'm playing chess against can see her, and tells me to approach. Now, I have the most game out of all my friends, but I rarely approach, so they doubt me. I decided to prove them wrong.

Me: Hey, excuse me?
Her: ?
Me: Do you know how to play chess?
Her: No.
Me: C'mon, I'm sure you know a little.
Her: I played a long time ago.
-I bring the chess board over. She's like 'wtf', while I just smile while carrying it. There's something iffy though, and I realize it with the next sentence.
Her: Why don't you play with one of your buds over there?
-I realize that no one uses 'bud', and that she's a hick. Her Texan hillbilly accent is so strong, I can barely understand what she's saying. I tried to not grimace or laugh, but it was insane.
Me: I'm too good for them.
Her: *laughs* So you want to play me instead?
Me: Who knows? Maybe you're a secret chessmaster. Or maybe I just want to boost my ego by beating you.
Her: I don't remember what all the pieces do though.
-I show her all the basic chess moves, she's not too into it, but I can tell she's just surprised that a stranger is teaching her chess.
Her: Please don't play me, you'll win for sure.
Me: Don't worry, I'm sure of that. Don't underestimate yourself though, I'm sure you've won a game before.
Her: Nope, can't remember
Me: When you were little?
Her: No
Me: In your dreams?
Her: *smiling* I don't dream about chess.
Me: What do you dream about? Dolphins? Big cars?
Her: I already have a big car, it's right over there.
-She points at a gigantic F-250, with a Texas flag painted on top. The accent was already nerve-racking enough, but this was icing on the cake. I decided I had to eject, for the sake of my sanity. It was the most garish thing I had ever seen. I think I grimaced in disgust when I saw her truck, but figured I might as well keep going
Me: You know, chess is way better than big fords. For one, the knights can turn.
Her: *laugh*
Me: Anyway, I'll go back to playing with my friend, alright? Don't give up hope, you'll be a master some day.

So, I went back to my 'buds', and I was stricken. Friggin' hillbilly, zomg. I didn't even bother to get the #, even though she was responding well, because I know I wouldn't call.

More to come, 21 days left.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Years of memorizing sheet music = amazing memory.

I remember things from when I was 3 years old, with parental confirmation too, lol

.

Give him a break. He is doing a good job of making this stuff up. I applaud him. Better than most. I suspect that our hero will drag this on until the last few days when some older woman (we all know how American boys love dem older women ;) ) is won over by his wit and charm. She will provide him with really great sex and he will leave for all those college hotties (isn't every campus in America filled with tall thin beauties? :p ) that await him as a new man.
