Hi I'm looking to get my levels checked but my doctor is reluctant to do it, I stay in the UK, what's the best way to get them checked I don't mind paying, thanks Andy

Why does your doctor not want to do it?
I'm sorry to say this but male healthcare in the uk beyond keeping men healthy enough to keep working is
a complete joke. Compared to the raft of well women groups, all the shoulder rubbing and female circle
jerking that goes with post and pre natal maternity care, hell a woman can even get some new t1ts on the
National Health service because her self image is poor. Nearly 100% of the time women are the first point
of contact when you phone the NHS and thus are the gatekeepers to the heath service. They decide if our
ailment or difficulties warrant any time with a doctor, usually they are nothing more than completely medically
unqualified receptionists with, in my experience a very "man up" attitude if you call to try and get an appointment.

When I first broke up with my wife I lost a load of weight, could barely sleep and when I could I was waking
abruptly having panic attacks that manifested in me not being able to feel my arms for a time, coupled with
night sweats, constant depression & some suicidal thoughts. It's fair to say I was at a very low ebb.
I called the doctors and explained my condition and had to threaten to go down there in person and kick
the fvck off if I wasn't seen urgently after being told the doctor was too busy by one of the phone b1tches.
Grudgingly I was granted a short notice appointment. I attended and sat with the (female) doctor and told her
everything that had happened over recent weeks, about my depression over the break up, my autism making
everything even worse as I just couldn't see the point of existing anymore. I wanted some meds to help me sleep
which I was refused then I was told counselling would be helpful, given a leaflet and told to apply for an appointment
but to be prepared for a 16 week waiting list. 16 WEEKS!!! I was at my wits end and could have quite easily at that
point gone over the edge and offed myself. I ended up paying to see a private counsellor as I had literally nobody
to sit with and talk stuff through with. Still don't to be honest, but that's another matter. The counsellor I saw (also
female) was very helpful in many ways and it just felt so nice to be heard after an 8 year marriage where I never
really had a voice either. It's now gotten to the point where I have given up on the NHS. I'm the wrong gender
and to some extent ethnicity to get any kind of service from them being a hetero white male over 40 years old.

In a world that seeks to feminise men and where masculinity is viewed as toxic, any kind of assistance to help a man
realise his full male prowess, for example Testosterone therapy, male only support groups even subsidised gym
memberships is very far down the list of priorities of the national health service. Masculine men are 'dangerous'
to the fvcked up new world order we seem to be striving towards these days. You'll only get T therapy when you're
a wrinkly old man that can't hurt anybody or change anything along with a few blue pills, and that's only to keep your
wife happy, not you.

Yet, laughably the NHS give out T therapy like sweeties to todays confused females who think they want to be men, along
with breast reduction surgery, counselling and help with genital surgery. There are literally places that make false bulges
for trans women to stick down their drawers to give them a male looking crotch in underwear. If you are a relatively young
man suffering his first dip in T levels due to onset of middle age, then you can finance T therapy yourself or you can do without.

Don't just go for the cheap total testosterone test, add a free testosterone test, slightly more expensive.

Compare with the bell curve.

Good test to gauge current levels.

To boost T:
Get good sleep
Have sex on a weekly basis, instead of masturbation.
Invest on zinc based multivitamins.
Lift heavy regularly.
Eat lean meat and protein.
Have good healthy cholesterol like eggs, coconut oil.
Participate in adventure sports.
