"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hey guys

What the hell is with territorial chicks? I'm single right now, and there's some random girl i know who's apparently obsessed with me...every time i make a move on a girl at school, guess who rains on the parade?

It's really ****ing annoying, and RIGHT THIS SECOND i'm having a convo with another girl who used to have a thing with me, but backed off cause of this random girl.

Do I just be upfront with this random girl and tell her I'm not interested?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

What's wrong with this girl that you don't want to date her, besides the fatal attraction thing? Is she unattractive? Is she boreing? Does she yap all the time?

If she's your female friend and you call her "dude" all the time, the she's just as prone to c*ck blocking as a guy friend. You just have to live with it or tell her, what your motives are behind talking to some other chic before you engage her inconversation.

You "Wow that girl's really attractive, I'm gonna go see what's happning with that, would you mind waiting here for a minute? No offence but I work better alone"

Her "Okay I get it I'll wait over here. Go get her number, I'll be in the lunch room.

or

Her "Who are you kidding?! She's not even that hot, I'm going to make sure you don't make a big mistake by outing her as the slvt she is!"

act accordingly for either response.

She's a really good friend who apparently likes me. But I don't like her(that way), just not attracted...

She tells people that she likes me, and i guess she thinks they're keeping it secret...but they tell me, and other people...and pretty soon most girls i meet know(you know how chicks spread gossip), and im "off limits"

I know this is a "good" problem to have, but its still annoying.

No it's not! Despite what people may say, attracting unnattractive people or people less attractive to you is not a good quality. You want these people to think "Wow, he's hot, but way out of MY league, so I'm not gonna try" every time they see you. Not saying you want to be a total snob, even though that's what it sounds like, but if you carry yourself like your somebody big, you'll get treated like you're somebody big.

You got the trifecta anchor following you around hung? I don't know how you got stuck with that but you need to either cut the cord quick or make it obvious that you're not interested. Think about all the guys who hang around in the friends zone with girls who are obviously too good for them but are too nice to say something about it. They figure the longer they stay in their atmosphere the better their chances of their pipe dream coming to furition. Sad but true. Get rid of her, she might be alittle mad at you but would you rather have her continue to shoot down your game? Better still pick up agirl while she isn't around and date her. When she sees the two of you together you should have solid enough repore where she won't be able to put a stick in your bike spokes.

haha thanks

It all rings true...

She's a good friend though, and I want it to stay just that. She seems to want more, but I don't. I'm not going to be mean to her, but I'm aloof enough and arrogant enough that she should have gotten the hint...I don't know...

Ever since I started putting effort into my own life(gym, school, hygeine) I've been pulling ass...I know it sounds ****y but girls[hot and not so hot alike] just throw themselves at me. I've just never had a girl whom I know closely(good friend) try to get me.

I just have high standards. People on here tell others to lower your standards..but how is that fun? going out with a girl you don't find that attractive...In a single year, I'd rather date one hottie for acouple months, than spend the whole year having flings with not-so-hotties.

Whatever...We'll see how it plays out and I'll keep you guys posted. I'll probably just tell her on the weekend how there's no chemistry between us...Or I'll close my eyes and fvck her, then tell her. ;)

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You need to tell her the truth about how you feel if shes as good of a friend as you say.
