"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I tried this strategy for the first time.

In the past I used to try to hang around and meet up with them every so often, try to be the fun, flirty guy, but it never got me anywhere. They just would move on to another guy.

So I tried another strategy this time and just told her straight up to get back to me when she's sick of her guy. Does this have any success to it?

Of course, I'll be out spinning other plates and not giving her any thought.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Any other thoughts? I figure it's a better use of time to fill up what little free time I have with single chicks instead of working a "long" game with a taken girl who would most likely be a waste of time anyway.

The problem is: She will know that you're interested and you make yourself an option. I wouldn't recommend it only if your pretty certain you won't see her again. If shes at your school or social circle or lives in your village/city I would just move on until you find out it's over with her bf and then ask her out. If she gives you the 'I have a bf I'm sory' just show her your not bothered by being polite and leave.

So I would only go for that if the chances are big that you won't see her again, then you don't have much to lose.

On the other hand if things aren't working out so well with her bf she could be curious and text you to see what your up too. Really depends on the girl.

I find it interesting man, more thoughts ?

I tried to mitigate this by saying that she should contact me when she's sick of him "and maybe we'll see". I was hoping to convey that I wouldn't be waiting around for her.

I just found this to be a better alternative for me. She would hit me up every 3-4 weeks to "hang out" on a Fri/Sat night...I mean, come on. I'm already strapped for time as is. At some point it would be so much time spent with her that if they do break up, I'll end up being the emotional tampon and she'll get with someone else as I'd be too much of a "friend".

I admit that I'm still new at this and it feels like time would be better spent sharpening skills on single women (I won't have that boyfriend thing lingering in the back of my mind and hindering my actions and thus my development).

At least this way I know that if she contacts me next, it'll be because something's up. And I don't have to invest any more time into her.

I also felt like this was a better alternative to just fading away/blowing her off whenever she wanted to hang out. By blowing her off or not responding constantly, I just make her think I don't like her period. So if she does break up, she won't even bother to think of me. At least this way she knows I'm not waiting around, but there's interest there.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Call/text me when you're bored with your boyfriend and if I'm still interested I might call/text you back.
