I have been reviewing in my head what I could do better and what I have been doing wrong around this one girl. I noticed that I keep telling this girl "I don't lie" usually when she asks me a serious question. I told that either I won't answer the question at all and avoid it or tell her the truth but never lie to her. Occasionally she would say oh thats right you don't lie... Is this a good or a bad thing? Me and this girl have been seeing each other recently ( twice exactly and already had sex )... Can this hurt me in the long run if I decide to have a relationship with her? Incase she catches me lying which I don't plan on ever doing (lying).

be honest with people and u'll never have to lie....

with that said though, everybody lies, just depends on the extent, if you do tell a lie, dont get caught... keep it to a minimum and definitely dont lie over major things.

having a reputation of being honest cant possibly hurt you btw.

what you saying is absolutely unrealistic.

being nice, being honest ends u in the friend zone.

but there is a flip side to this-women who do not like "nice" guys, end up with guys who are abusive and controlling.

so all the talk about nice guy vs jerk is not totally true.

if the women cannot appreciate a guy who shows them respect, then they will end up with someone who treats them like a prisoner.

and then WHO is the real needy one?

those guys who are not nice ,who are not polite, are abusive and controlling.

so what the hekk are you guys saying about stop being a nice guy.

i always maintain that when a woman ends up in an abusive relationship, its HER fault.

cuz she had NO appreciation for the guy who was polite to her.

i agree with you.and though you dont lie to her,and dont disrespect her,she still says "i just want to be friends".BS

well she finds the guy who she wants, who is rude and impolite, then she wont be able to even look out the window without accusation.

she wont be able to answer the phone without his fastness.

so you guys ought to reconsider the idea that as a man you are suppose to act macho around women, instead of being 'NICE"

I'm curious about why you need to keep telling her this. Not just why you won't answer but what's posessing her to ask you those things in the first place.

Well what happend was we where in the car and my phone was in between us in the coffee cup and it kept ringing from a unknown number and I didn't wanna pick up. So she asked me if some girl keeps calling me and I said no its not a girl, and she's like yah right look how many times they are calling you and this late at night. So I said i don't lie its not a girl. After that she's been using that against me. She would ask me a question and she would bring up the never lying comment. Somehow I need to turn this around? So she stops using this against me, any ideas?

As far as me ending up in the friend zone she already established that she likes me and has feelings for me and wants to be with me (even though we have only seen each other twice), but i told her i am not sure what i want and we need to get to know each other better.

You're not really giving her any reason to trust you, neither by what you tell her nor by your actions and especially not by the combination of the two.
