A friend and i were having a discussion and a light went off in my head. Now a days especially the younger/new generation which are born accustomed to multiple ways of communication ie Facebook, texting, email, IMs. There is WAY too many ways for a woman of getting the attention she so much craves.
Not only that but it gives a guy way too many options of unwittingly showing her TOO much attention, thus giving her what she's looking for and making it hard, if not killing his chances of getting another "date"
Because of this, it unbalances a guy's strength towards a more desperate/needy attitude. Think about it, she is getting approval every minute, every hour, every day! from someone. Of course this is going to boost a girl's ego and thus act unimpressed, aloof, disinterested towards the male population. Even if she meets her match, she can keep her ego above water from the numerous amounts of texts she probably receives, to the endless compliments online. She can easily be distracted having her ego fix and make it harder for a guy who's a "challenge" to keep trying harder and inevitably possibly turn him into a wuss digging for her attention.
Technology is killing our game because the attention is being provided in more than one way. A new pic a day on Facebook and she's good to go for a week with a superior feeling of acceptance. This isn't the same with a guy, it's almost reversing the dynamics.
