Teacher preaching feminist bs

First off, I want to say that the stuff on this site has helped me improve myself a lot. Now, a story:

In one of my classes we were supposed to read a play called the Vagina Monologues. There's one part where it talks about some lady getting cheated on and my teacher (who is male) said, "men suck" when we were discussing that part in class. Barbie and Carl's Jr. commercials were brought up too. He also said he doesn't want to make any decisions for his wife (my dad is like this and my mom hates it). My teacher's position was always the feminist one, a couple times it bordered on radical. Anyway, the class is 12 girls and 4 guys (including myself and the teacher) and I pretty much kept my mouth shut the entire time. It was kind of funny, but also kind of scary how blind my teacher is to how stuff actually works.

Anyone else have any weird stories like this?

You need to prepare yourself to be able to rebut such foolishness. Men's fear and unwillingness to challenge are the very reasons that feminism has grabbed a foothold in our society. We must stand against it even when it costs us.

What is the name of this class?

Thanks for the feedback guys. Not sure on the exact title of the class but I think what the teacher wants us to learn is how American theater has affected the country. I'll keep what you guys said in mind. I know feminism is going to come up with at least a couple more things we read so I'll make sure I'm prepared to challenge any ridiculous claims he makes.
