"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I've noticed over the past few years that a lot of the guys I've worked with who have generated the most attraction have tattoos. And I don't mean they just have a tattoo or even a few. I mean they have full sleeves, have had a lot of work done, and are constantly getting more.

It kind of reminds me of this Adam Corollo video that Rollo recently posted:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=EDk0M0UnmAw#!

Be a type, make a statement, and you generate more interest.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

not here. in the real world.
Well for myself, who only has a few tattoos, it has been a result of some determined statement of personal growth. (ie, each of my images means something to me that I carry as a reminder).

Being committed to something is an attractive asset. For others it may be strictly vanity. Definitely don't get a tattoo just to try and get laid more -- if anything get a tattoo only for yourself, for it is with you until its over.

ummmm.....dunno whether or not there is a correlation.

I don't have any. Could not even be pressured into getting one while in the Army. Personally, not my thing.

Wife has told me on a couple occasions, she does not like tattoos on guys or gals.

OP I just watched that youtube link. Its a sad state of affairs. Being a hardworking, loyal, good family man is no longer enough these days for western women.

I was in a bottle-shop the other day buying a sixpack. this douche walks in, tall skinny sonofbeatch, with a tatoo of Che Guevera running down the length of his neck.

Now that fvcker wouldnt know **** about Che, about the revolution about anything...but I bet the fvcker gets laid.

But there is hope - do you really want to be laying and hanging out with chicks that are attracted to these types?

Zunder, wonder what the chances are that tattoo boy has a decent fvckin job?

If he has one, it's probably at the local frisbee repair shop. :p

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

This is a great video and the guy, Adam, really hits the nail on the head. I see guys like this everywhere now, in every city, in every country in every part of the world. And, yeah, a lot of the time they are the ones with the hot chicks!

Like the narrator says it's the smart looking but more anonymously dressed guys who always seem to be struggling, even if they have money and looks.

I never got more attention from girls than when I got highlights in my hair. I don't know why I did it. I looked and felt ridiculous, frankly I was embarrassed . And yet the girls really seemed to like it.

I have to say that it makes me sick that women are like this. As Adam says these guys are just 'b*lls*it artists'. There's nothing to their clown like posturing, hideous sense of fashion and meaningless tats. But the girls fall for it time and time again.

Rant over. And just in case I'm sounding bitter or jealous I do ok with women but I'd rather never get laid again than turn into one of these f*cking douches.

Why not have a rant? I know there are people on this board that say we are just bitter. Yeah well why not be bitter.
If a man can't have a rant here or at the local pub with his mates then where the hell can he let off some steam.

Good stuff Miles.

You may have got some attention, but did you snare a new HB or two to add to your rotation ? Did those hi-lights draw a decent women into your life ?
At the very least did you get great night out with a cool woman ?
Any extra nookie because you got yourself some chick hair ?

I suspect not. I wager that what you experienced was a version of the sort of "Ooh ..ahh..look at this " nonsense that you hear woman sprout when they go shopping for clothes together .
Suddenly one of them happens to locate a cute outfit in the "Sale today" rack and the squealing begins.
I bet you looked so cute .... ( I could not resist this dig , Miles  .)

The pickup gurus are always saying find a way to stand out. I guess this goes along with that. You don't want to fade away into the background by being anonymous. I suppose that screams being beta. A less extreme bit of advice given along these lines is to always dress a shade better than those around you, than the occassion demands.

I don't care for the tats myself, but they are far more common among the younger crowd, along with piercings. That's why I don't think one or two tattoos gets much notice these days, they have to get extreme with them to have an effect.

It may be that the personality type of guys who gets full sleeves and such has something to do with it. They are probably actively seeking attention, otherwise why do it? Maybe they actively seek attention in other ways also. In other words maybe they are just very motivated to interact and seek favor with women.

And when they show the girls the tattoos they can talk about things they are passionate about that inspired the tattoo (passion is supposedly another thing that attracts women). Maybe even tell some DHV stories. And then there's the aspect that they are showing their bodies to the girls, even if women aren't as visual as men are.

Great advice Zeek.
Problem is that most GenY males seem to own only T-shirts, badly cut scruffy jeans, and Nikes. That's it.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

There are always those few misfits on the outskirts that can't get it done, but they are usually easy to spot, and in the minority.

That's why I've never bought into this idea that girls will only go for the top 10% elite guys. They might prefer to be with the alphas, but it seems to me they're pretty quick to settle.

Th point of what Corolla goes into is that it's important to haveA Look. He doesn't define what the best Look is, in fact he leaves that wide open, because the basis of that attraction is going to be conditional for the individual girl. The archetypal "douchebag" with tats and an MMA appeal is a Look. Guyliner, black nail polish and Emo skinnyjeans is a Look. The guy in a 3 piece Armani has a Look, and there are dozens more, but the point is that women are like casting agents looking for the right character to fill a role.

When I was 26 I had a workout partner named Dean. Dean was 6' 2", drop dead gorgeous, unbelievably cut and women would flock to the guy regularly. Dean was also a male stripper at one of the strip clubs that had a male revue night once a month. The guy made money hand over fist and was always a crowd favorite. I was dating a stripper named Angie at the time so I was pretty familiar with the club owners. One thing I noticed about the most successful male strippers was that they were almost universally the ones who sold a story to the women in the audience as part of their act. Dean used to do a Fireman skit that would drive these women (young and old) into a frenzy. Another guy would do the hot executive fantasy in an Armani suit and give away flowers to the ladies, classy, but building up to him stripping down to a thong. The guys without an act never made as much in tips. It wasn't as satisfying for the women as the fantasy aspect that Dean and a few others would sell. Women get off differently than men. For a guy, a hot stripper in nothing but a g-string grinding out a lap dance is enough to get him aroused. Women need that ungratified fantasy to get them aroused.

Law 32: Play to People's Fantasies
The truth is often avoided because it is ugly and unpleasant. Never appeal to truth and reality unless you are prepared for the anger that comes from disenchantment. Life is so harsh and distressing that people who can manufacture romance or conjure up fantasy are like oases in the desert: Everyone flocks to them. There is great power in tapping into the fantasies of the masses.

Be careful about falling for the "xxxxx attracts chicks" crap.

It's not so much that tattoos attract chicks as that one of the kinds of guy that attracts a lot of chicks also happens to be the type of guy who likes to get tattoos.

Correlation doesn't imply causation

Turns out, people with lung cancer have consistently been observed to have more ashtrays in their houses than those who don't have cancer ..!

Get rid of those ashtrays right now!

Plenty of "middle of the road" guys get laid. They may keep it silent but we do.

I don't think most people studying pick up are middle of the road though. If you are clean cut, nice, funny, and successful you will get laid. And you won't have butt ugly inked splotches all over yourself when they're wiping your ass at the old folk's home.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I think it's a little silly when I hear guys say "Guys with tats get laid." or "Guys with t-shirts and nikes get laid."

Do you really think these guys are getting laid solely because of their tattoos and t-shirts?

If it was that easy....

No, not solely, of course not. I just noticed this as a trend. The guys with a lot of tats seemed to generate some excitement with the girls that wasn't there otherwise. I suppose it's the fantasy thing Rollo was talking about.

Yes or no, do girls like tattoos?
There's always some variation from person to person, but generally speaking I think the overwhelming answer is yes.
Why this is so is another question. Maybe it's as simple as girls liking accessories :)
