"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Obviously going up to a random and spilling out your life story is a little wierd, but small talk, that's fine, it's how people get to know eachother, a little at a time. You ask a person how there day has been and talk about it for 5 minutes everyday. After a while you get to know that person, just by having a 5 minute convo about their day.

Anyways, what is weird about asking how somebody's day is going? Do you worry about asking your parents how their day was, I doubt it. Other people are exactly the same.

You really do just have to push yourself to just try it. If it turns out the person does think you're weird, then move on, it's their loss, not yours. If a person finds the question 'How's your day?' weird then there ain't no hope for them and you're better off not having a conversation with them anyway.

Danzy just described you too a tee. Stop overthinking this, just get out there and DO IT

What sort of music and what sort of sports are you into?

So hockey and football (American or soccer?), try and find people with the same interests, that way it's easier to hold a conversation.

At parties it really doesn't matter that much what you say, I met a HB7 who is now one of my better friends at a party, she went to an all girls school near mine, we all thought they were lesbians, so the first thing I spoke to her about was the fact she was a dyke, even though she had a boyfriend.

Girls will talk about anything at parties, especially if there's alcohol involved, obviously there's going to be a couple of people who are just boring ***** and won't be worth talking to, or aren't interested in getting to know anybody new. But you're not that guy, you WANT to talk to people, which is more than I can say for alot of people that I know. This already puts you in the drivers seat. Be interested in the other person's answers and just keep going.

The next party you go to, I want you to say HI to at least 5 different women, find out their names and what they like doing/who invited them/if they're enjoying the party. That's 3 questions. Not too difficult right, you've already answered 3 questions of mine in this thread.

If you manage to do this, it'll give you a little bit more confidence andyou won't feel as wierd the next time you try. If you don't do it, the next party after will still be the same, you'll feel akward and wierd asking simple questions.

Have fun with your conversations dude. Bust her balls, utilise sexual innuendo, be provocative. No girl at a party is going to want to talk about the sport you like for more than 5 minutes. Go have some fun mate. Just let go, forget all the social rules that hold you back, let it flow

Are you kidding you need to stop asking US these questions and ask these females everything you're now asking. One girl at a party in particular opened me by asking who I was (which is usually my territory). I introduced myself and found out who she was in relation to my boy throwing the freaking party. From there we danced, went outside talked about our school, offered her alcohol I brought with me, what we were studying, how I went to HS with the host and all the funny nicknames we gave him, etc. Don't forget to get their NUMBER at that point. Ask directly if you must, after building your rapport of course. Talk about the music and then go for the number close or whatever it is you need to do.

Those house parties are meant to be easier and very social. They don't want to be bored so they are there expecting to meet someone like yourself. Be social everywhere you go. PRACTICE! Yesterday, I approached a woman at the grocery store and didn't ask permission or do an opinion-opener, I simply said "How tall are you?!" It got her smiling and talking to me about herself, simple as that. She was 5'10" BTW lol.
