And those desperate moves on his part are an inevitable consequence of a poor quality relationship in which his IL is higher than hers....hence his attempts to "manage" her into his frame (which was weak or nonexistent in the first place) .
THink of it this way. IF a woman is really into you and is behaving accordingly, there is no need for the guy to manage or try to interfere in her personal life.
Attempts to manage or control are rooted in fear of loss.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
