"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I believe that my biggest failing as a man is the fact that it takes me WAAY WAAY FAR FAR TOO LONG to move on after being rejected.

I only end up hitting on about 15-20 women a year, because after one of them says "no" I am usually crushingly depressed for about two weeks. I am so pathetic :p

What are some good techniques for overcoming this?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Increasing the numbers and never asking a question so blunt it means they're going to reject you.

One thing that is interesting is that the most successful people with woman I know don't treat the same things as rejection as other guys I know. If a girl acts up, they keep going. If a girl pulls away from a kiss, they laugh and keep doing what they do for a while and then try again.

I'll give you an analogy, once I wanted to go hitchhiking to save some valuable time. I was scared ****less at sticking my hand out because I was afraid, what of? I don't know... rejection. But then I decided to play a game, imagine the number of 30 and count down every time a car passed. Y'know what? I counted down to 19 then I got picked up. Then the next time I tried I was told the best way to get picked up is to turn around and face the driver and stick your hand out. When I did this the second car I saw picked me up.

I've tried hitchhiking since and I don't automatically get picked up, sometimes I still ***** out, even though I know it doesn't really matter. I can't control their opinion of me anyway, so why does it matter if they don't want to pick me up? They're lucky if they do becuase I'm good company and the coolest cat they've ever been in the presence of. The fact is if you just treat every woman as a potential lay and remove any guilt from the fact you want to **** them, you'll get better responses.

This is the kind of post that I would expect from someone with such a downer of a screen name.

Dude, you might try changing your screen name to reflect a more positive outlook. It wasn't until I came here that I realized that there really are alot of downer type of guys out there in the world.

15-20 chics a year is not a bad number for some guys. Being down for 2 weeks should not really be a big issue, i've seen guys on this site who reel for months at a time.

Me I'm a mover and a shaker, Even if I'm hittin it I'll still find other places to go. But the only way to up your down time is to keep yourself in the feild. The more girls you're around, the less down time you'll have because down time isn't really a factor if you're always out and about looking for other options.

Only talking to 25-30 woman a year isn't good for anyone. I've opened about that many a month. If he scored with these girls then he'd be the uber stud, but that's the point, he doesn't.

I miss read your post (or was semi drunk when I posted) I thought you meant you HIT 15-20 girls a year. Hell hit ON at least 5 girls last night over the course of a couple of hours.

The remedy for this is to just increase your numbers. You'll decondtion yourself from hitting on such small numbers of girls if you just actively seek other women. Even if you crush on all of them, you'll soon realize you don't have the time, effort, or funds to actively pursue 7 or 8 girls at a time for two and three weeks.

Just imagine if you did hit 20 woman a year, I'm 19 so by the time I'm 25 that would be 120. Not bad for a lifetime. I'm on schedule for about four a year... diddums.

I'd feel like a loser going around just hitting on girls .. not sure why, maybe it's a thing where is quality over quantity for me.

This last week had a girl just giving me the eyes big time at a bar .. really hot Blonde with very nice ass, but i blew it off (and i was horny too) because am looking for LTR. Sure, i could have probably got laid for the night, but in a way i would feel cheap.

And no .. by no means am not gay. I'm in fact very manly. I guess i don't want a rep for this.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
