"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

OK well first off let me introduce myself. I'm Systemshock, 30 years old living in London. I recently split with a long term girlfriend and have been having zero luck since. I'd seen a TV program in the UK called seduction school which helped a few AFC's sort themselves out and while trying to learn more online I discovered just how much good information was out there, on the net and in books. I spent a month or so reading everything from The Game to David Deangelos ebooks, mysteries ebook and Ross Jeffries, I read the art of seduction and how to become an alpha male, listened to lots of audio books and browsed a few forums. Once I'd got my head around the general principles and started to internalise some of the mental attitude stuff I decided it was time to get out there and start puttiing this into practice. I figured having a definate structure to work to would only help and stop me wasting time so I downloaded the bootcamp pdf and have started the exercises today. I'll now post my first report. I'll post updates at least weekly but as often as possible. I'm really glad the bootcamp stuff and the bible is available, I really feel it'll be a big help motivating me so thanks for that.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Day 1)

OK so I decided the best place for making eye contact and generally encountering friendly people would be somewhere a bit touristy. Londoners can be very wary of each other so I figured I'd get better response from tourists. With this in mind I headed to Camden market. Normally I think this would have been the perfect place but today was freezing cold and raining so people weren't exactly looking around smiling and saying Hi to strangers!!! My strategy was to try and look any HB's in the eye, and when they looked back to just smile and say Hi, which sounded pretty easy in theory. When I did it though nobody looked back! they just looked down or the other way! after about an hour or so I started getting fed up and just deliberately standing in peoples ways or like accidentally moving the same way as them so we'd bump into each other! a few girls looked up and I even got a smile back :) this only bought limited success though and I felt like a public nuisance so I switched back to just looking at people, with slightly better success this time and a few more Hi's!
Eventually though I got a bit fed up with the time taken and decided to be more forceful and actually talk to people, then they'd have to look at me! I saw a few tourist girls eating lunch by a food stall and decided to go and ask what they were having etc. As I got close one of them was taking a photo of the other, so I walked up and said, "hey why don't I take a photo of you all together" they looked a bit scared but also agreed and when I started pushing them closer together and saying they'd look good in the photo they started giggling :) so I took the photo and feeling victorious headed to get some lunch myself. There was a cute Japanese girl sat on her own so I went and sat at her table with my lunch and started chatting. Well I asked a few questions which she didnt understand! then wished her happy new year as its the only thing I can say in Japanese! I dont think she understood that even! the conversation was a bit lame as we couldnt understand each other! but I was pleased with myself for making the effort which I would never normally do. An angry looking Japanese man came over and dragged her away shortly aferwards but it wasnt going anywhere anyway! so by the end of the day I'd managed a total of 11 Hi's! which I was pretty pleased with. There had been a few more where I'd sort of chickened out half way through, they probably looked more like a nervous twitch than a greeting though so I'mnot counting them!!!!
All in all I'm really pleased with the first day and I'm just hoping I can make enough free time this week to get the 39 Hi's out that I still need!

Week 1 progress report)

This is just a quick post to update the journal on my progress at the end of week 1. Well it was hard finding the time but I managed to make the 50 Hi's set out as a target. It was a busy week with work and other stuff so I struggled to find the time and ended up doing half on Saturday, which took me the whole afternoon!

Throughout the week I only managed 15 or so which were spread pretty evenly throughout the week. These were actually the easiest ones as sometimes people will make eye contact naturally. If you're alert to it you can pretty easily turn this into a greeting and quite naturally a conversation.

Situations like getting on a bus or joining a queue, people naturallly look up when a new person enters their space and it's easy to say Hi, and if you're feeling bold to start a conversation. Twice this worked for me this week and I started two brief conversations with HB's who happenned to be in close proximity. Doing this feels to me like just being friendly. Trying to get eye contact and saying Hi to people passing you feels a bit weird as people tend not to make eye contact naturally so much in these situations.

Anyway I managed to complete the tasks this week despite lack of time so I'm feeling very positive about it. Week two starts today so it'll get more difficult, but I've got more time this week and I'm feeling positive so hopefully there'll be no problems :) onwards and upwards :)

I'd love to read it, but the lack of paragraphs is kind of discouraging, so I didn't.

Hmm well i edited the most recent post and put some paragraphs in but I can't seem to edit the older posts unfortunately :(

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
