Do not go to Brazil to live, please DO NOT. Criminal activities are really high. Very , very high. It is almost like living in Venezuela today.Brazilian girls are fine but when they hit the wall they hit it hard. Brazil is a good place just for vacations sexcapades and short periods of time.Vietnam , Cambodia , maybe east Europe.....
Brazil is HUGE and part of the appeal is that its not as safe as the west so women can't go off on stupid feministic tirades, you have to sacrifice something. The 3rd world is not safe ANYWHERE but I would say America is probably scarier by a factor of 10 because every idiot and his mother owns a gun. The food is amazing in Brazil and the people are great.. you need poor present to give people a sense of reality or they love touch. I lived there during one of the country's most dangerous periods, where they were shooting up police stations in SP and bullseyeing criminals in the favelas from police helicopters... I still managed to get by and really enjoy myself and I was on my own at 25.
You were thinking about moving to Brazil right? I had two friends from Brazil when I was in college and they didn't like their country, but it doesn't look bad, not particulary good, just average. So I'm curious, why Brazil?
A friend of a friend of a guy who knows a girl, whose mother spoke to a co-worker, whose aunt sat beside a rich student who told them that the Starbucks is expensive in Brazil and therefore it sucks.
No but seriously, the only people who study abroad are the millionaires and they don't have to lift a finger their entire lives, so of course they are going to tell you their home country sucks, its the 3rd world. They can live in NY and goto school for their entire lives if they wanted to. One thing you guys don't realize is that ANYONE who comes to the 1st world, does so with MONEY. The regular working class people can't afford to catch a flight to anywhere, they are busy trying to make enough just to get by. The people who worship the USA are the people who have a daddy who can afford to send them to school abroad. These are not people who would ever lead normal lives back in their own country, they frequently own BMWs, helicopters and private jets... hell if you were born in their country, they probably wouldn't speak to you at all. Keep that in mind when you are speaking to a foreigner in your 1st world country.
I had a gf from China that frequently said China sucks. Her dad had given her a card issued by the government called a 'black card'. The black card would allow for up to 10,000 RMB or something ridiculous per month of charges that would be wiped away at the end of each month. She bought me groceries, clothing, and took me to restaurants when she felt like it. She attended high school in Toronto despite hailing from Urumqi in Southern Siberia. I met her in a SUPER elitist English school where she was bored and looking for something to do. She paid around 300 per LESSON and never bothered to do homework or really anything except put on makeup. She then went to school in Toronto at a college and later at a University but I don't think she ended up doing anything. She was banging me and I guess some rich Chinese guy in Toronto which I later found out about. These are the people you are going to school with. The average, middle class person in China can't afford a house or car let alone an English lesson. Only the RICH can afford to stay in America, so keep in mind, these are the opinions of spoiled children.
Having 10,000 RMB in China is like having $10,000 USD in America.
