smh. Video catches them in the act again. The cops are lucky the dude survived that beating.

Its 2015. I cannot understand how any public servant allows themselves to get caught acting criminally in public anymore. People should just assume it will be caught on tape and act better. Or is it that some cops simply dont care about that?

Seriously though...beating and tasing a guy as he lay on the ground with his hands behind his back?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

You're a SJW to the core, ain't ya?

I've said it before, but I appreciate your presence on this forum. You spice up what would otherwise be a circle jerk of like-minded beliefs. I value opposing points of view, even if I hate them. Makes you more cultured, I think.

^So you don't believe in officers following the law and behaving better than common criminals. It should behoove them to want a better national image nowadays. Brutally beating a surrendering suspect is not a good luck.

What's Sjw about wanting better behavior from law enforcement? Sounds like a shaming tactic used against those who dare question abusive policing.

And yes, echo chambers are not a good thing. Agree with you there.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Wow. That's about the size of it, just multiply x 100,000,000 million or so. Is it brain damage? Not being able to connect the dots?

When my great granddad was a sheriff's deputy in my small town of 80,000 county population, we had about the same racial mix as today, about the same -real- crime rate (violent crime rate), and maybe 20 cops employed at all levels in the whole county.

When I was a kid in the same small town of 90,000 county population, the -real- crime rate hadn't changed, but somehow we had two large jails and maybe 100-200 cops in the county at all levels.

Today in the same town of 100,000 or so county population, the -real- crime rate STILL hasn't changed, the largest building in the county is the county jail complex, and there are at least 1500 cops at all levels, sheriff, county, city in the county.

There are around 150 counties in my state with the exact same situation, gigantic, institutionalized, unaccountable "justice industry." The private sector didn't "do that," the GOP didn't "do that," the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-lawyer-MSM Complex DID THAT.

How do they not see the connection between the growth of the LW Imperial Welfare State and episodes of incompetent police and brutality? How do they not understand that every vote for the union label left is a vote for more and more government power with less and less accountability to the people who pay for it all? Boggles the mind.

Pretty much. Jaylan's all for social justice and big government when it suits his line of thinking. When it doesn't, you're either clueless to how the world works or a racist. Falls in line with all liberals. They say they want freedom of beliefs, but if those beliefs don't cow tow the line, prepare for SJW war.

Limp-wristed liberals deciding what is OK for everyone else. Yeah, nothing could go wrong there. Except the ultimate downfall of Western civilization as we know it.

And Jaylan, I don't give a **** about whatever story makes the media. I didn't even read the link you posted; I know it's the same old nonsense. I'm too busy living the right way, being kind to people that are kind to me. And I'm a conservative white guy!

You want to highlight every fvcking thing in the news like it's something new. This sh1t has always happened, and it's only getting worse in America now because of multiculturalism.

There's an example of what SJW does for you. SJW saved his life, and he proceeded to try and take others'.

EDIT

I reached my 10 post limit for the first time ever.

Its hilarious to me how people try to partisan politicize whats been going on with local law enforcement in this nation. The militarization of police is not a left or right thing. Its something all government has been doing regardless of political slant for years now. The lack of accountability has been going on for years. Its not because of left wing or right wing policy. Its because of nepotism, cronyism, and lack of accountability that exists throughout the entire system of government.

Does every discussion have to end up with some partisan political party bashing or whining about race here? How about we talk about properly screening those who become officers? Or how our officers could be better trained?
No. I actually completely agree with you here. I think that the militarization of police forces is ridiculous. And I'm pretty sure that Stagger would agree. This all goes back to big government. Not sure if you're aware, but the government has been buying up ammunition for a while. (That's actually why there's been an ammo shortage. i.e. guys like me find it more difficult to find target ammo.) Why do you think they're hording ammo? Why would the government stock up on ammo?

Yes I believe it was excessive force. But this guy wasn't some angel but a career criminal known to these law enforcement officers. When the government treats non-criminal men the way it does, the way it treats fathers, men in divorce, the way it treats people with affirmative action etc, WHY would anyone be surprised by excessive force when someone is clearly breaking the law?
