"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So dealing with this plate that obviously has caught the case of feelings. We fvcked quite a bit months back then she talked about wanting me to herself. I told her that is not something I am looking for. So she got all heated called me "bad man" and selfish. So I NC'd her. Several months later she reaches out to say hi and hope I am well. We start communicating again. I have her over a friends house on sunday while I house sit, and so we smash on the couch. (Still not interested in a relationship with her)

Last night I invited her to a movie with me. Very casually. More along the lines of "I am going to see a movie possibly tomorrow. Come if you want"

She wasn't happy with that invite and wanted "Hey would you like to see a movie with me?" (Sh1t test)

So I disregarded it with a "Ha ha"
Move on to this morning and get this huge text along the lines of
"Hey I don't know if I want to go to the movies with you. Something isn't right and I feel like you dont really want to go with me. blah blah i think blah i feel blah. Things feel empty. I used to get excited to see you and i felt you were excited to see me...............(more complaining) The way you invited me to the movies was real ****'ish (is that a word?)"

So I am thinking of replying with:
"Morning, The movie starts at this time meet me at X if you want to. If not it's okay."
And disregarding her emotional rant.

Thoughts?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Maybe you shouldn't worry so much and enjoy her. Just be aware and be ready to eject if she gets crazy or weird.

@Sprayarc I know what you mean. I was more wondering about disregarding the emotional tirade and just moving forward as if nothing happened.

Anyway
I sent her the Morning, and time for the movie. she accepted and will meet there.

That's good. I'd act like nothing happened and just push and pull. Make sure you don't text to much.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

The land of improvement
Great respond.
Just hold your distances because the chick sees to make things out of her mind. Too many disney movies hurt the brain . The chick probably is under this effect xD

LMAO you nailed it. She loves to talk about disney ****, ha ha.

I don't want anything except a good time with her. And I already made that clear previously with her.

EDIT: She flaked. Told her "I refunded the tickets. Have a safe NYE."

Gonna go NC with this one for a while. (Excuse she didn't get enough sleep and not sure if it is coming to see me or getting over her cold.) I am not going to beg a woman to do anything. Her loss.

So this leads me to another question.
When you NC a plate for whatever reason. When they start texting and asking "is something wrong?" "Are you grumpy with me?" The basic **** test to see if we are bothered by their actions. What are some of the responses here? If you choose to respond at all.

What she was trying to communicate with you is that she senses your lack of investment and indifference towards her and she is not OK with it.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

This is good advice, straight forward, simple and effective.
