"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Long story short, girlfriend was in *****y mood last night, asked for my help with something, I provided it and she yelled at me. I don't stand for that so I walked out. Texted me today saying "I'm sorry I yelled at you especially when you were only trying to help."

What would be a good reply that would accept her apology, but still maintain my frame that her behavior was unacceptable.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

express that you don't want to handle issues by yelling
give her a chance to change the behavior...its likely a learned one so it won't go away overnight but if she cares she will put forth the effort

to be honest though storming out isn't the best course of action on your part.
You could have tried waiting a few minutes and asking her to calm down, instead you now introduced a mind game where she is being "punished" when you couldn't have just said "hey, please don't yell at me, I respect you and yelling isn't respectful. Maybe we should go for a walk, cool down, and try again".

People argue in different ways. You have to learn how to argue constructively in a mutually respectful manner if you want any relationship to work out. You both need to mature.

Like I said, long story short. I didn't storm out. I did wait around a while to see if she would apologize for her behavior or cool down, but she remained pissed off and *****y so I simply and calmly left and didn't attempt to contact her since.

So your response to disrespect is to, wait for it... compliment the person who is disrespecting you and ask her to PLEASE stop yelling? You have got to be kidding me! If you don't respect yourself, other won't either.

OP, you handled it well. Now tell her that you accept her apology but if she ever acts like a spoiled brat again, it will be the last time you speak to her. You need to show her that you've got a spine and will not tolerate her bullsh*t.
