"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I found a series of studies by Merikle and Cheerman which proved subliminal tapes are big pile of doo doo.

Subliminal means in the objective since, that is they cannot tell they have perceived it and this has been verified by obtaining chance results when "forced" to answer multiple choice questions regarding it. There is another thing which is subjective, that is people do not report having seen something they actually did for reasons like they might be unsure of if they saw something or not. This scewed earlier results of a study by Marcel (1993).

The gist of these (look them up if you want details) is that if you give out a mixed bag of subliminal tapes to help memory and self-esteem, but label them randomly, people will report a subjective bias, that is they will think they have improved whatever the label says even though no improvement has occured. This is after 30days of listening each day. There were other experiements before this one, but this was the most damning since it used real-world examples in a way that has high ecological validity. There were also labortary tests under tightly controlled studies that proved objective subliminal msgs have no effect.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

So I guess they do work! Just in the same way that "positive thoughts" and that kind of crap works.

they only work if you belive they will work, you inplant somthing in your mind.
the part of your mind you have no control over sends the signals,if YOU do not belive it will work, or if you do not belive in your self enough to do the thing, the two will clash..............

From my personal experience with subliminal tapes. They dont work. Total waste of money.
Your probably better off with some hypnotic affirmation type of tapes.
