"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

any hope? She sent me this email recently. Been in the friends zone since collge.

Good friends are like stars....You don't always see them, but you know
they are always there. Keep them close!! Cindy

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Well. We have not been in physical contact since collge, but have always stayed in contct via phone, letters and emails. I probably know her as well as most of the women I have dated. We seem to be on the same wave length. She is an amature model. Never been married. currently single. Our careers have made it difficlt to get together. She and I are planning a vacation together next summer which shocked me. Dont have the faintest clue where this is going. My best friend says its in my destiny to marry her.. LOL. I dont feel his optimism. But who knows.

when was the last time you spoke to her?

sounds like she's trying to confirm and validate the friendship...in other words seeing if you're still on the same grounds to continue being friends. It's a "greeting email" at the same time with a statement.

just write back

its a forwarded email.

My opinion is that you have to reply and flirt more. Tease her. Be a challenge, be interesting.

Send some lines with inner meaning. Like...

I was thinking about your email... Should I put you on the stars and watch you up there or should Ihug you for that?

or

Thanks! Now get down here and give me a hug.

Don't dwell on it. Play and flirt.
