Some people might think that men are better at being sales reps than women because men are accustomed to approaching women in a romantic setting. Men are accustomed to rejections because of the experience from romantic interactions.
I think that argument above was a more valuable argument in the pre-internet era. With most "approaching" now being done on swipe apps, the rejection is different. Men still get rejected a lot in the swipe app era, except now the rejection isn't in real time. The male rejection is all done from behind an electronic screen.
