You have to invest a little time and get to know the bartenders, dj's, bouncers, etc and you don't want to be seen as a "customer". My group of friends and I were always seen as the guys who brought the life to the party. We were the entertainment, not them. We never bought any dances either. We definitely didn't attract the ones who just wanted money.
And strippers aren't any more drama than non-strippers. Crazy has no boundaries.

The girls aren't even all that good looking, maybe 10% of the strippers I see are worth paying them for their company. The rest are like the bar trash I turn away every other day.
In Florida strip clubs are full contact by the way, practically anything goes in the dirty south. Down here there IS sex in the champagne room. Mostly BJs tho... lol
I was so drunk one time that I made a rather rude comment toward a Russian dancer who approached me for a tip after a stage performance. She stormed out, and minutes later two big dudes in leather jackets (supposedly Russian) grabbed me and "escorted" me outside.
There was a police cruiser parked just outside of the club and they said something to themselves before shoving me out. I have no doubt had that cop not been there, I would have gotten my ass kicked.
Haven't been to one since.
