"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

2 different schools of thought. If you are attracted relationship-wise to a HB who gets a lot of male attention, which mode do you take?

My friends are suggesting I be patient and go slowly, easing into an eventual date. These friends, however, are not always around if I wanted to do a group event.

Meanwhile, I am on the other extreme. I want to strike now (same stance I have towards attacking my work, etc.)! At the same time, I don't want to falsely come off as patient. I've been burned by waiting before and seeing a HB date another guy.

This particularly HB has shown plenty IOI's, but recently figured out the Hard to Get game and is playing it to a T (she knows my "aggressive" work mentality, so it puts me in a bind). Adding to the headache.

So, what general philosophy do you guys use?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Taken from THE JUDGE himself Nismo-4

"40. Good things come to those who wait.

Guys, change this wait sh*t to ACT! Do men withhold sex from women? Rarely."

Law 35: Master the Art of Timing
Never seem to be in a hurry – hurrying betrays a lack of control over yourself, and over time. Always seem patient, as if you know that everything will come to you eventually. Become a detective of the right moment; sniff out the spirit of the times, the trends that will carry you to power. Learn to stand back when the time is not yet ripe, and to strike fiercely when it has reached fruition.
You have to respect the momentum. Strike too late, spend too much time in the comfort stage, and you're just friends; strike too early, without enough comfort, and she will reject or flake.

Just go for it. If she's playing hard to get that means she is either playing games or not interested. Ask her out. If she is interested she will go even if she's playing hard to get. She won't play "too hard" because then she'll lose you.

The best way to know for sure is to just ask her out. Otherwise you could be waiting weeks and thinking to yourself "What if....."

I agree with this.

Yeah, it's POSSIBLE that you could ignore a AW (or move very slowly with one) and have her come after you. But the planets need to be aligned (ie you're good looking and her type, she's strongly attracted to you, and she's aggressive enough to make a move).

Do you want to gamble on something like that? Just make a move and find out for sure.

Competition is fierce today. F waiting.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

For me, I almost have to wait it out. I'm so busy week in week out focusing on my career and dreams that I don't have time to see a girl more than once every two weeks, and this f*cks me over bad with most of them. I see high interest fade to nothing when I have to wait. It's just the way it is now I guess, girls will forget about you unless you completely blow them away. Hell, I drive a nice car, been told I'm good looking and confident, muscular, and ambitious and they still forget me.

I'm in the strike while the iron's hot club, waiting has brought me nothing but stress and heartache so far. The worst is when you find one you actually like and you lose her due to passivity. Go in strong and stop giving a f*ck, I'm working every day to develop this attitude and it's so hard, since I've always cared deeply about others opinions, but will be so worth it once I figure it out.

Waiting is an investment of your time. Would you want to find out the hard way, eventually, that you wasted that investment?

From personal experience...

Being patient = Blue Balls
Strike Now = Empty Balls
