"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I'm Night from Mystery's Lounge, I don't post here too often, but browse what you guys are talking about every so often.

Story telling is one of the most important parts of sparking a woman's attraction switches. If you cannot tell a story in a set, you will not get laid.

In a story you must convey certain characteristics such as:
- leader of men
- social proof
- protector of loved ones
- attractive to other women

These are some characteristics you will have to weave into your story to project a higher value.

Here is an example of a bad vs. good story.

Bad: I went to the beach last weekend and played some volleyball...it was pretty cold out there, but I still had fun, by the way there were some crazy girls there.

Good: OMG last weekend me and a dozen friends went down to this kick ass beach(social proof)...I set up a huge volleyball game with my friends(leader of men)...and all of a sudden these girls kept trying to get themselves into the game....we were like "No, this is guys day out...no girls"...but they kept persisting, one really bratty girl even tried to pull down my shorts, it was so wierd.(attractive to other women)

You can even follow up with a question: "Would you ever try to pull a guys shorts down?"

I bet a lot of you can relate to the first one...ad some, what we call "DHV Spikes"...in other words, weave some higher value characteristics into you stories.

Well, your probably thinking this is great...but how do I come up with a story. SIMPLE. You guys have been on this planet for at LEAST more than 15 years(I dont know how old all you guys are)...Are you gonna tell me that NOTHING funny has happend to you in the last 15 years of your life?

Here are the steps you must take:

1. Think of a mildly funny story

2. Write it all out on paper

3. Add at least one "DHV SPIKE" into the story(remember those characteristics of higher value we talked about?)

4. Write out the whole story including the DHV spikes to it on paper.

5. Practice it, not only the words. Be aware of when you pause, and also practice high energy facial expressions to go with the story.

6. Field Test it. Field testing it 20 times is NOT enough. You must field test it over and over again with different tonality, different facial expressions, different pausing....after all of that field testing, then you may make the descision weather to alter it or ultimately use it.

Hope this helped some people:)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

NightPUA,

Good post.

I'm very interested in story telling.

Just being aware that you are telling a story - rather then just talking, you're able to ALWAYS tell good stories. Just being concious about it is awesome.

Wow you should be glad that you didnt attend the _blank and blank concert; it was wild!! Things got out of hand quick when these group of scarry looking guys started moshing. Everyone was getting trampled. I saw these young 2 girls fall down and the stampede of ppl were coming their way. I'm thinking oh ****! They are going to get killed, so, I jump in and pull them out, at the same time I'm fighting the crowd. It's like me against 1000 ppl. I get some other guys to pick them up and we body surf them over the fence toward the safety of security and away from the crowd.

how'd I do?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Freewheelin Frank,

I'd like to hear your experiences with story telling and picking up. I'd like to hear your opinion on an exciting story aswell.

Oh, and keep in mind that in a natural conversation - think, a conversation you have with your best friend - you'll probably be telling a *story* every 5-10 minutes.

eg. "hey man! how was work?" "hey, work was great....STORY"

Frank, when your interacting with a girl you've just met its totally unnatural to have story after story which could be used as a Hollywood blockbuster.

How about instead of being negative you try being positivie? It'll improve your entire life.

Also gain some field experience so you can discuss topics on a proper level. This too will improve your entire life.

Actions speak louder than words - how about you just show her by your actions that you have all those qualities instead of telling her you have them?

flexion,

You miss the point. It is indirect game. You aren't telling them 'I am a leader of men.' You are telling them of an instance you have lead men.

Think of the job interveiw analogy in regaurds to PU.

"I am a leader of men." -- "I will increase profits."

"I started a game of vollyball." -- "While I was in charge at xyz profits increased xyz ammount."

They convey the same thing.

But seeing the instance is much more powerful then stating it.

Ideally, the stories have truely happened, and your actions will re-inforce this.

I rarely storytell anymore.
It is a welcome addition in your game, for sure - if you have good stories that convey quality values and traits, you will pull, don't get me wrong - but I just can't be bothered to get every aspect of a story rehearsed and down pat. A lot of my stuff anymore is just 'on the spot' and flowing conversation - I find it feels more natural.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
