Anyway, I think for most guys, they may actually have to do something different to get thier "hot" chicks.

I think guys judge "looks" two different ways:
1. Most guys will judge 'looks' on body, clothes, smell, makeup, jewelry, skin tone, and hair. If you have a thin girl with nice tits and ass, tan, tight pink clothes, shiny hair, and diamond earings (even if her facial structure is only a little above average) most guys would rate her as HOT.
Why is it that some guys complain that a woman sometimes turns them off when they see her without make up? What else can explain women's obsession with skin and hair products?
2. Some guys will judge 'looks' as if they are looking for a model. Only a "natural beauty" gets high scores with these guys. Makeup, hair, or anything else is seen right through. The girl rates the same if she is in rags after just waking up, or all dolled out for a night on the town. These are the kind of looks that you really can't change.
I go for the natural beauties. I can see through the hair and makeup and know if the girl is actually pretty without it. The only make up that fools me is the black eyeliner or the crazy colored sh*t that goes on the eyelids.

Okay, now you are probably like me (judging chicks by #2) and wondering WTF? Girls that rate as HOT for us are just BORN that way, and either they are or aren't, and there isn't anything they can do about it.
That is to say that personality won't affect our 'judgement' of them, because they can be the cleanest, most fitness-friendly, best dresser, etc. and we can still see through all of that.
But for OTHER guys, the only girls that are HOT are the ones that DO do thier makeup nice, and work for that perfect body, and spend 3 hours doing hair, and 2 doing makeup.
See what I am getting at?
What type of girl DOES all of that stuff?
Well, ALL OF THEM!
Yeah, to an extent, but if I gathered a handfull of MY "perfect 10" girls and compared them to a handfull of Random-Dude's, mine would spend MUCH less time doing all of those things.
(As an aside, I have noticed that the most asthetic women to look at [i.e. the model types] are less "girly" than other hot women, and sometimes have slightly deeper voices, along with being smarter and more responsable.)
Get it? A girl that gets all dolled up for the night is looking for certain things from men, whereas another girl (who you and me may consider to be 'hotter') may not be on the lookout for certain things.
Before I started to dress nice and everything, most "dolled up" hot girls didn't even give me the time of day. Yet, I still managed to snag both a Josie Maran look-a-like and some girl that was almost as hot as Elisabeth Shue. Mind you, these girls didn't put NEARLY the amount of effort into makeup/clothes/etc. that some others do. Jeans and t-shirts were the norm.
So, in my case, I didn't have to change anything to get with the chicks that I considered HOT. But peoples perceptions differ, and some guys may have to change a few things before they can swang with Miss Thang.
Long post, but I think I have solved a little conundrum which has confused me about the way I look at women, and the way other guys look at women.

I'm so sick of reading every thread and the dood says, I met a HB10 blah blah blah. I guess they don't realize that 10's are 1 in a 1000!! Any ***** can by nice make up and workout and get plastic surgery. But very few are born with the natural beauty that us picky guys look for.

But what you are saying is physical, yes these guys on this site should already be taking care of their clothes, physical appearance etc. Most of the posts I am talking about are the asking how should they "act" around these babes. I mean seriously I see some guys who have been around on these boards as long as me or longer and they are fine with getting chicks. But then they come accross a HOT one (wether that be natural beauty or a girl all dolled up, to them it is still a "HB10") and have a chance with her and then they start second guessing themselves, asking how should they act, etc etc

However I can see your point, yes sometimes these girls who do get dolled up are looking for something when they go out to nightclubs, but usually these are the girls who are always dolled up anyways, and usually seem to be more *****y than "natural beauties". They are also more insecure and run more games. Not worth it in my book! The naturals are usually sweeter, nicer, smarter and more beautiful!
